7. ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin bilimsel yaratıcılık düzeylerinin fen bilimleri dersi ve laboratuvar uygulamalarına yönelik tutumları ile ilişkisi

Özet
Bilimsel yaratıcılık, öğrencilerin sadece bilgi öğrenmekle kalmayıp, aynı zamanda bilimsel düşünce, eleştirel analiz, problem çözme ve yaratıcılık becerilerini geliştirmelerini hedefleyen bir yaklaşımı içerir. Gelişmiş dünya ülkelerinde fen öğretiminin önemli bir unsuru haline gelmiştir. Son yıllarda, bilimsel yaratıcılık kavramına yönelik farkındalık ve önem, ülkemizde de artmaktadır. Bu çalışma, yedinci ve sekizinci sınıf öğrencilerinin bilimsel yaratıcılık düzeyleri ile fen bilimleri dersi ve laboratuvar uygulamalarına yönelik tutumları arasındaki ilişkinin tespit edilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu; Malatya ili Battalgazi ilçesinde bulunan üç ayrı ortaokulda 7 ve 8. sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan 341 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma için seçilen okullar, sosyo-ekonomik yapıları bakımından benzerdir ve örneklemin öğrenci sayıları itibariyle evreni temsil etme düzeyi yüksek olacağı düşünülmüştür. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 29.0 programı kullanılmıştır. Analizler öncesinde yapılan normallik analizi sonuçlarına göre verilerin normal dağılım gösterdiği görülmüş ve bu doğrultuda parametrik testler kullanılmıştır. Çalışma verilerinin toplam puanlar üzerinde ve cinsiyet bakımından fark gösterip göstermediği t-testi ile belirlenmiştir. Uygulanan ölçekler arasındaki ilişkiyi ve bu ilişkinin yönünü belirlemek amacıyla Pearson Korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Öğrencilerin bilimsel yaratıcılık düzeylerinin fen bilimleri dersi ve laboratuvar uygulamalarına yönelik tutumlarını ne yönde ve hangi oranda etkilediğini tespit etmek amacıyla basit doğrusal regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, ölçeklere verilen cevapların toplam puanlarının cinsiyet yönünden kız öğrenciler lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farka sahip olduğu görülmektedir. Öğrencilerin bilimsel yaratıcılıkları ile fen bilimleri dersi ve laboratuvar uygulamalarına yönelik tutumları arasında pozitif yönlü, güçlü ve anlamlı bir korelasyon olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan regresyon analizleri sonucunda bilimsel yaratıcılığın, fen bilimleri dersi ve laboratuvar uygulamalarına yönelik tutumun artmasında etkili olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Bu durum bilimsel yaratıcılığı yüksek öğrencilerin, fen bilimleri dersi ve laboratuvar uygulamalarına yönelik tutumlarının da yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir. Scientific creativity involves an approach that aims students not only to learn knowledge but also to develop scientific thinking, critical analysis, problem solving and creativity skills. It has become an important element of science teaching in developed world countries. In recent years, awareness and importance towards the concept of scientific creativity has been increasing in our country. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between seventh and eighth grade students' scientific creativity levels and their attitudes towards science course and laboratory applications. The study group of the research consists of 341 students studying in the 7th and 8th grades in three different secondary schools in Battalgazi district of Malatya province. The schools selected for the study are similar in terms of socio-economic structures and it was thought that the sample would be highly representative of the universe in terms of the number of students. SPSS 29.0 programme was used for data analysis. According to the results of the normality analysis performed before the analyses, it was seen that the data showed normal distribution and parametric tests were used accordingly. Whether the study data showed a difference in terms of total scores and gender was determined by t-test. Pearson correlation analysis was performed to determine the relationship between the scales applied and the direction of this relationship. Simple linear regression analysis was performed to determine in which direction and to what extent the students' scientific creativity levels affect their attitudes towards science course and laboratory applications. As a result, it is seen that the total scores of the answers given to the scales have a statistically significant difference in favour of female students in terms of gender. It was determined that there was a positive, strong and significant correlation between students' scientific creativity and their attitudes towards science course and laboratory applications. As a result of regression analyses, it was observed that scientific creativity was effective in increasing the attitude towards science course and laboratory applications. This shows that students with high scientific creativity also have high attitudes towards science course and laboratory applications.
