| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Asemtomatik veya semptomatik bulgular veren vajinal enfeksiyonların görülme oranı yüksek olup genellikle parazitler, mantarlar ve bakteriler nedeniyle oluşmaktadırlar. Çalışmada Beydağı Devlet hastanesi patoloji laboratuarına servisit ön tanısı ile alınan smear örneklerinin Papanicolaou (PAPS) boyası ile boyandıktan sonra enfeksiyon ajanları yönünden değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada 1191 örnek incelenmiş ve %4.8 candida, %7.1 cocobasil, %0.3 Trichomonas vaginalis gözlenmiştir. Olguların %97.5 inde enfeksiyona bağlı lökositoz saptanmıştır. Diğer taraftan hastalardan alınan anemneze göre vajinit enfeksiyonuna neden olabilecek ajanlar hakkında bilgilerinin olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Hastalar adet düzensizliği, kasık ağrısı ve akıntı şikayeti ile başvurmuş olup enfeksiyon tespit edilenlerin tedavileri eşleri ile birlikte yapılmış ve genel bilgi verilmiştir. Sonuç olarak kadınlarda servisite neden olabilecek etkenler, bulaşma ve korunma yolları ile ilgili halk sağlığı eğitimlerinin verilmesi gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: The prevalence of vaginal infections which develop asymptomatic or symptomatic symptoms is rather high and these infections are generally caused by parasites, fungi and bacteria.In this study it was aimed to examine the smear specimens pre-diagnosed as cervicitis arrived at the Beydağı State hospital pathology laboratory for infection agents after being stained with Papanicolaou (PAPS) stain. A total of 1191 specimens were analyzed within the study and 4.8 % revealed candida, 7.1% revealed cocobasil, and 0.3% revealed Trichomonas vaginalis. Infection-related leucositosis was detected in 97.5 % of the cases. On the other hand, it was detected based on the patients’ anamneses that subjects do not know the the possible agents causing vaginitis infection. The patients had consulted with complaints including irregular menstrual period, inguinal pains and discharge. The treatment of the subjects diagnosed as infected was done with their husbands and they were generally informed. Consequently, it was concluded that public health training programs should be conducted about factors causing cervicitis among women, its ways of transmission and prevention. | en_US |
