| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Amaç: Pediatrik yaş grubunda distal nazolakrimal kanal tıkanıklığı nedeni ile yaptığımız eksternal dakriyosistorinostomi (DSR) ameliyat sonuçlarımızın sunulması. Gereç ve Yöntem: Nazolakrimal kanal tıkanıklığı tanısı ile eksternal DSR ameliyatı olan 6 olgu (3 kız, 3 erkek) çalışmaya alındı. Vakaların ortalama yaşları 9.0 yıl idi. Olguların dışarıdan gözlemle kese lojları kabarıktı. Olguların lipiodollü dakriyosistografilerinde geniş hidrops kese görünümleri izlenmekteydi. Hastalara U-Flep DSR uygulandı. Nazal ve lakrimal kese mukozalarında sadece ön flepler oluşturuldu. Sulanma şikâyetinin geçmesi ve pasajın irrigasyonla açık olması başarı olarak kabul edildi. Bulgular: Olgular postoperatif 1.hafta, 1., 3., 6.ve 12. ayda kontrollere çağrıldı. Takip süreleri en az 6, en fazla 24 aydı (ortalama 13.8 ay). Yapılan kontrollerde tüm olguların lavaj ile kanalın açık olduğu ve preoperatif tüm şikâyetlerinin kaybolduğu saptandı. Böylece olgularımızın 6'sında da (%100) cerrahi başarıya ulaşıldığı tespit edildi. Hiçbir olgularımızda intraoperatif veya postoperatif ciddi bir komplikasyon gelişmedi. Sonuç: Çalışmamız sonucunda pediatrik yaş grubunda hidrops keseli olgular için eksternal DSR'nin tercih edilebilecek başarılı bir cerrahi yöntem olduğu kanaatine vardık. Başlık (İngilizce): The Results of Pediatric External Dacryocystorhinostomy Öz (İngilizce): Aim: To present our results of external dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) operations in pediatric patients with distal nasolacrimal duct obstruction. Material and Methods: This study included 6 pediatric patients (3 boys, 3 girls) with distal nasolacrimal duct obstruction underwent external DCR. The median age was 9.0 years . All patients had a large hydrops lacrimal sac in lipiodol dacryocysrography. The patients underwent U-flap DCR and only anterior mucosal flaps were formed. Surgical success was accepted as the absence of epiphora and open lacrimal passage with irrigation. Results: The patients were examined at 1st week and 1, 3, 6. and 12 months. The cases were followed for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 24 months (mean follow up was 13.8 months). All nasolacrimal ducts were open with irrigation at all control. Surgical success was 100% (6/6). No severe intraoperative or postoperative complication occurred in any case. Conclusion: DCR was concluded as a successful surgical procedure for the pediatric age group in appropriate cases. | en_US |
