| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırmada, ilköğretim dördüncü sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersi, üretim-tüketim ve verimlilik ünitesi için tasarlanan beyin uyumlu öğrenme ortamının öğrenciler üzerinde yarattığı bilişsel (öğrenme düzeyi) ve duyuşsal (birlikte çalışmaya gönüllülük, derse ve öğretmene karşı tutum vb.) değişimlerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, İstanbul il sınırları içerisinde yer alan özel bir okulun, dördüncü sınıfına devam eden 72 öğrenci üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Veriler öğretmenlerle ve üç farklı öğrenci grubuyla yapılan odak grup görüşmeleri ile elde edilmiştir. Odak grup görüşmelerinin sonuçlarına göre, beyin uyumlu öğrenme çerçevesinde uygulanan zenginleştirilmiş sınıf ortamının, öğrenme üzerinde olumlu etkisinin olduğu sonucuna varılabilir. Okul ve sınıftaki poster, afiş gibi görseller, drama, fiziksel hareketler, öğretmenin tutumu, bilmeceler ve müzik gibi uygulamaların, öğrencilerin, okula ve derse yönelik tutumlarını, derse katılımlarını, motivasyonlarını, sınıf içi aktivitelerini olumlu yönde etkilediği söylenebilir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The present study used a qualitative, case-study research methodology to examine cognitive (learning level) and affective (voluntary collaboration, the attitude towards the lesson and teachers etc.) changes among the students as a result of a brain compatible learning environment prepared for production-consumption and productivity units of an elementary school fourth-grade social studies course. The study involved 72 fourthgrade students at a private school within the provincial borders of Istanbul. The data were obtained through focus group discussions carried out with teachers and three different student groups. The focus group results suggest that the enriched class environment applied within the framework of brain compatible learning has a positive effect on learning. The results indicate that visuals used in the school or class, such as placards; drama, physical activities, the attitude of teacher, applications such as puzzles and music, all positively affect students’ attitudes towards the school and class, their participation in the lesson, their motivations and in-class activities. | en_US |
