Özet
This study was carried out in order to determine the effects of Prohexadione-Ca treatments on quality parameters of tomato fruits. In the study, the Pro-Ca dosages were identified as 5 mg l-1, 15 mg l -1, 30 mg l-1, 45 mg l-1 and treated plants were compared with non-treated plants. Every different Pro-Ca dosages were applied to the leaves thereby atomising after dissolving in 1 liter water at 3 different periods (pre-blooming, blooming and fruit period, and harvest period). The parameters of, stem length, stem diameter, root lenth, fresh and dry vegetative weight, fruit weight, fruit length, fruit diameter and brix were measured. Besides, the analysis of sugars and organic acids were done in fruits. In order to determine the effects of Pro-Ca treatments dosages on nutrient element uptake, nutrient elements content of leaves were investigated. As a result of statistical analysis that have been done with the obtained datas after the analysis, all dosages of Pro-Ca have good impacts on plant growth and and fruit quality. Even though different dosages of Pro-Ca have different effects on different plant growth parameters, the dosage of 15 mg l-1 comes the forefront in terms of plant growth parameters. According to the all measurements and analyze results it can be obtained that Pro-Ca utilisation have good impacts in tomato growing. Despite higher dosages show better results in some parameters, in practice, it is possible to say that the dosage of 15 mg l-1 would be reccomended. © 2016, Centenary University. All rights reserved.
