İNFERTİL ÇİFTLERİN DUYGU DURUMLARI: NİTELİKSEL BİR ÇALIŞMA

| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Bu niteliksel çalışma, infertil çiftlerin duygu durumlarını belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Bu çalışma İnönü Üniversitesi Tıp Merkezi İnfertilite Polikliniği'ne başvuran ve çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 14 kişi ile yapıldı. Çalışmanın verileri birebir derinlemesine görüşme yöntemi ile toplandı. Her bir görüşme yaklaşık bir saat sürdü, görüşmenin temalarını; Elizabeth Kubler Ross tarafından tanımlanan ve kaybı takiben bireylerin yaşayabileceği duygu ve tepkileri sınıflandırdığı için yaygın olarak kullanılan, psikolojik cevap aşamaları (şok, inkâr, öfke, pazarlık, depresyon/çöküntü, kabullenme) oluşturuldu. Veriler içerik analizi yöntemi ile çözümlendi. Analizlerin sonucunda bireyler infertil olduklarını ilk öğrendiklerinde "Dünyam başıma yıkıldı", "Çok üzüldüm", "Bunun tarifi çok zor" şeklinde duygularını ifade ettiler. Bireylerin sekizi tanılarını inkar ederek başka bir doktora gittiklerini belirttiler. Çoğu suçluluk ve öfke hissettiklerini, çevrenin davranışından rahatsız olduklarını ve ortamdan uzaklaştıklarını ifade ettiler. Bireylerin tamamı çocuk sahibi olabilmek için çeşitli tedavi yöntemlere başvurduklarını, Allah'a olan inançları sayesinde umutlarını yitirmediklerini belirttiler. İnfertil bireylerin yaşadığı duygu durumlarının belirlenmesinde ebe ve hemşirelere önemli roller düşmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: This qualitative study, was aimed to identify the moods experienced by infertile couples. This study was carried out on 14 people who presented to the outpatient Infertility Clinic of Inonu University Medical Center and who agreed to take part in the study. Data were collected using the method of one-to-one in-depth interviews. Each interview took about an hour; the themes of an interview consisted of the stages of psychological responses (shock, denial, anger, bargaining, depression/despair, and acceptance), which were defined by Elizabeth Kubler Ross and are widely used because they classify the emotions and reactions individuals may experience after a loss. The data were analyzed using the content analysis method. When the subjects first learned that they were infertile after the analyses, they expressed their emotions with sentences such as "My whole world came crashing down around me", "I was very sad" or "It is very difficult to describe this". Eight of the subjects stated that they denied their diagnosis and went to another doctor. Most of them said that they felt guilty and angry and they were annoyed by the behavior of their community, and isolated themselves from the society. All of the subjects stated that they resorted to various treatment methods to be able to have a child and did not lose their hope, owing to their belief in God. Midwifes and nurses have important roles in identifying the moods experienced by infertile individuals. | en_US |
