dc.description.abstractElectric Arc Furnaces(eaf) are nonliear loads which are occured the power quality problems in electrical grids. Because of theese reasons, teh operational characteristic of EAF must be understanding very well. In this paper, Operation characteristics of MVA EAF which is located in Sivas Iron and Steel Inc. (SIDEMIR) has been examined for different EAF transformator taps. In adition to, CA 8332 power analyzer meaurements obtained from the input power in EAF and static characteristics have been compared and current values and optimal operation condations for EAF loads can be determined.en_US
