Since from the past many communities have communicated in different ways throughout their lives, and the mode of communication has been through shapes and motifs. These motifs and shapes have been a representation for some communities. Sometimes these motifs represent something, and sometimes they find their place as a spontaneous shape. The aim of this study is to create a different pictorial interpretation by using the relationship of the circle with the writing. In the process of shaping the research, the qualitative research method was used and the literature was scanned from articles, theses, internet, journals and books. The relationship between circle and writing has been studied in the context of Western and Turkish painting through various artists and periods. This thesis study consists of four parts: In the first part, the aim, importance and problem situation of the thesis are stated. In the second part, some research has been done on the conceptual framework. In the third chapter, the usage of circle and writing in terms of Western and Turkish paintings are examined. In the fourth chapter, applications and analyzes within the scope of the thesis are given. And in the last section, the results of the study were announced. Various compositions were composed by using round tin boxes and the colors, writing and circular elements on them in the beginning process of the applications. Compositions developed in different combinations and consisting of a round tin object have been tried. In the following process, the situation became simpler and became more abstract, and various colors, writings and circular forms were directed according to the composition the practitioner wanted to create. In this context, various applications were made with oil paint and acrylic on approximately 20 canvases. It has been observed that many paintings were made in history with circular forms and writing, and even today there are many examples. In this context, it has become the main element of circle and writing applications, and it has been concluded that many studies can be produced in terms of plastic.
