Özet
Gümüş N-heterosiklik karben (NHC) kompleksleri, tıbbi uygulamaları nedeniyle organometalik kimyada geniş ilgi gören kompleks grubunda yer almaktadır. Son zamanlarda antimikrobiyal ve daha yakın zamanda da antitümör ajanları olarak tedavi edici araştırmalarda gümüş NHC komplekslerinin kullanımı artmıştır. Gümüş N-heterosiklik karben kompleksleri diğer metallerin NHC komplekslerinin elde edilmesinde de önemli rol oynamaktadır. Gümüş NHC komplekslerinin kullanıldığı transmetalasyon tepkimeleri geniş bir yelpazede özellikle Au(I), Pd(II), ve Ru(II) geçiş metallerinin karben komplekslerinin sentezi için kullanılmaktadır. Bu nedenle tez kapmasında yeni Gümüş-N-heterosiklik karben kompleksleri sentezlenmiş ve antimikrobiyal özellikleri ve Palladyum ve Rutenyum'a transmetalasyon tepkimesi incelenmiştir. Bulunan sonuçlar üç başlıkta özetlenebilir; 1) Tezde 1,3-dialkilbenzimidazolyum tuzları sentezlenmiş (1a-1j), yapıları uygun spektroskopik yöntemlerle aydınlatılmıştır. 2) Karben öncülleri Ag2O ile etkileştirilerek Ag(I)-benzimidazol-2-iliden kompleksleri (2a-ı) hazırlanmıştır ve yapıları uygun spektroskopik yöntemlerle aydınlatılmıştır. 3) Elde edilen Ag-NHC komplekslerinin antimikrobiyal aktiviteleri ve Pd ve Ru metallerine transmetalasyon tepkimeleri incelenmiştir. Silver NHC complexes are widely interested class of complex for organometallic chemistry due to their medicinel abilities. Recently, the use of silver NHC complexes has been increased in antimicrobial and more recently as therapeutic antitumor agents. Silver N-heterocyclic carbene complexes have played a very important role in the development of other metal carbene systems. Transmetallation reactions using silver carbenes have been reported for a wide variety of transition metals particularly Au(I), Pd(II) and Ru(II). Therefore, new Ag-N-heterocyclic carbene complexes have been synthesized and antimicrobial activities and transmetallation reaction have been investigated to palladium and ruthenium The results of this study could be summarized in three main sections: 1) In the first chapter, 1,3-dialkylbenzimidazolium salts (1a-1j) were prepared and their structure were elucidated by spectroscopic techniques. 2) In the second part, Ag (I)-benzimidazol-2-iliden(2a-ı) complexes were synthesized from reaction of Ag2O with the NHC precursors, and all complexes were structurally elucidated by means of spectroscopy. 3) In the last chapter, the antimicrobial activities and transmetallation reaction of prepared Ag-NHC complexes were investigated to palladium and ruthenium.
