Özet
Sanat Eğitimi çocukların katılımcı, girişimci, özgüvenli, kendini ifade edebilen estetik değer yargıları gelişmiş bireyler
olmalarına katkı sağlamaktadır. Günümüzde Sanat Eğitimi veren sosyal sorumluluk projeleri sanatın ve sanat eğitiminin
bireysel ve toplumsal yararlarının günümüzde daha iyi anlaşılması üzerine ortaya çıkarak yaygınlaşmıştır. AB’ye
katılım sürecinde Resmi ve sivil toplum kurumları sanat ile ilgili sosyal projeler üretmeye önem vermeye
başlamışlardır. Heykel eğitimi, çocukların ruhsal ve psiko-motor gelişiminde çok önemli bir rol oynar. Günümüzde
Türkiye de Eğitim programları ve sosyal sorumluluk projelerinde ‘Heykel’ ile ilgili çalışmalar giderek artmakta ve ilgi
çekmektedir.
Art education enables children to be participating, entrepreneur, self confident, smooth-spoken individuals and to have a sense of aesthetics. Today, civil society initiatives which are for art education become widespread through the personal and social benefits of art and art education understood well. During the pre-accession period to EU, official and nongovermental organizations give importance to producing art projects. Sculpture education plays an important role in children's mental and psychomotor development. Nowadays, sculpture works in educational programmes and civil society initiatives gradually increase and arouse interests in Turkey.
