Özet
Amaç: Araştırmanın amacı, Spor Bilimleri Fakültesindeki öğrencilerin meslek tercihlerini etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesidir. Materyal ve metot: Araştırmada nicel araştırma tekniklerinden tarama modelinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında İnönü Üniversitesi Spor Bilimleri Fakültesine devam etmekte olan ve raslantısal olarak seçilen 212 ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın veri toplama aracı; Karahan tarafından geliştirilen sorulardan yararlanılarak oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmada elde edilen bulguların toplam katılımcı sayısına göre dağılım düzeylerinin belirlenmesinde yüzde (%) ve frekans (F) analizi yapılmıştır. Öğrencilerin bazı demografik özelliklerine göre mesleki tercihlerinin kıyaslanmasında Crosstabs ve Ki-kare Testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada anlamlılık düzeyi (p) <0.05 olarak alınmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmada öğrenciler meslek olarak spor ve eğitim alanı olarak çoğunlukla öğretmenlik mesleğini tercih etmeyi düşündükleri belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada ayrıca öğrencilerin mesleki tanıtım ve yönlendirme eğitimlerini yararlı buldukları ve çoğunlukla katıldıkları tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Araştırmada öğrencilerin meslek tercihlerinin aldıkları eğitime paralel olarak spor ve eğitim alanı olduğu, meslek seçiminde ilgi ve yeteneklerini göz önüne aldıkları, meslekleri tanımada en çok etkili olan faktörün öğretmenleri olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Aim: The aim of the research is to determine the factors affecting the career choices of the students in the Faculty of Sport Sciences. Material and Method: In the research, survey model, which is one of the quantitative research techniques, was used. The research was carried out with 212 randomly selected students attending the Faculty of Sports Sciences of İnönü University in the 2020-2021 academic year. Data collection tool of the research; It was created by using the questions developed by Karahan. Percentage (%) and frequency (F) analysis were performed to determine the distribution levels of the findings obtained in the study according to the total number of participants. Crosstabs and Chi-square Tests were applied to compare the vocational preferences of the students according to some demographic characteristics. The significance level (p) was taken as <0.05 in the study. Results: In the research, it was determined that the students mostly thought of choosing the profession of sports as a profession and teaching as a field of education. In the study, it was also determined that the students found the vocational promotion and orientation trainings useful and mostly participated. Conclusion: In the study, it was concluded that the students' career preferences are sports and education in parallel with the education they receive, they consider their interests and abilities in choosing a profession, and the most effective factor in recognizing professions is their teachers.
