| dc.description.abstract | Öz:Bu çalışmada, lise son sınıf öğrencilerinin mesleki olgunluk düzeyleri belirlenmiş ve öğrencilerin mesleki olgunluklarının yordanmasında denetim odağı, cinsiyet, yaş, üniversite tercih alanı, anne-baba eğitim durumu ile kardeş sayısının etkisi incelenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, öğrencilerin, okuldaki psikolojik danışmanından bilgi veya yardım alıp almama ve meslek seçimi için bilgiye ihtiyacı olup olmama durumlarına göre mesleki olgunlukları arasında bir fark olup olmadığı belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmaya 246 Lise son sınıf öğrencisi katılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, Lise son sınıf öğrencilerinin mesleki olgunluk düzeylerini geliştirmeye ihtiyacı olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Mesleki olgunluğun yordanmasında denetim odağı çok yüksek bir orana sahiptir. Bunu cinsiyet ve alan tercihleri takip etmektedir. Diğer taraftan psikolojik danışmanlarından yardım alan öğrenciler ile almayanların ve mesleki yardıma ihtiyacı olan öğrenciler ile olmayanların mesleki olgunlukları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Elde edilen bu sonuçlar ışığında öğrencilerin, daha çok mesleki bilgilendirilmeye ihtiyacı olduğu ve mesleki rehberlik ve danışma hizmetlerinin daha etkili, planlı ve sistemli yapılması gerekliliği sonucuna varılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract:In this study, vocational maturity level of high school students was determined, and also, how locus of control, gender, age, vocational choice, mother-father educational level, number of siblings predict vocational maturity of high school student was examined. In addition, an attempt was made to indicate the differences between the vocational maturity levels of the students in terms of whether they got help from school counselor or not, and whether they needed to have knowledge about vocational choice or not. The study encompassed 246 high school students. Results of the study showed that high school students’ need to develop their vocational maturity level. It was also found out that locus of control was a strong predictor of vocational maturity as well as gender and vocational choice variables. According to results, it was found that there was a significant difference between the vocational maturity levels of the students in regard to whether they got help from school counselor or not, and whether they needed to have knowledge for vocational choice or not. Under the lights of the findings, it was concluded that the students need to develop their vocational maturity level, and school counselors should provide vocational guidance and counseling more effectively and systematically. | en_US |
