Metabolik Sorunu Olan Çocuğun Ebeveynlerinin Bakım Yükünün Algılanan Sosyal Destek ve Yaşam Kalitelerine Etkisinin İncelenmesi

| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Amaç: Metabolik sorunu olan çocuğun ebeveynlerinin bakım yükünün algılanan sosyal destek ve yaşam kalitelerine etkisinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapıldı. Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklemini Gazi Yaşargil Eğitim Araştırma Hastanesi endokrin bölümüne başvuran 90 çocuk hastanın ebeveynleri oluşturmakta olup, araştırma tanımlayıcı ilişki arayıcı olarak yapıldı. Araştırmada, “Zarit Bakım Yükü Ölçeği”, “Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği” ve “Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği” kullanıldı. Veriler sayı, yüzdelik, ortalama, student t testi, kruskal wallis ve pearson korelasyon ile analiz edildi. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan ebeveynlerin; yaş ortalaması 30.21±6.10 yıl ve %78.9’u çocukların annesidir. Çocukların % 52.2’ sinin kız, %32.2’si fenilketonüri, %21.1’nin biotidinaz eksikliği tanısı aldığı belirlendi. Ebeveynlerin bakım yükü puan ortalaması 45.17±9.08, yaşam kalitesi puan ortalaması 20.51±3.35, algılanan sosyal destek puan ortalaması 40.20±8.55 olarak bulundu. Ebeveynlerin bakım yükü, algılanan sosyal destek ve yaşam kaliteleri arasında ve yaşam kaliteleri ile algılanan sosyal destek düzeyleri arasında negatif yönde önemli bir ilişki olduğu belirlendi (p<0.05). Sonuç: Ebeveynlerin bakım yükü ile yaşam kalitesi ve algılanan sosyal destek düzeyi arasında önemli bir ilişki olduğu, algılanan sosyal destek düzeyi arttıkça bakım yükünün azaldığı ve yaşam kalitesinin arttığı belirlendi. | dc.description.abstract | Öz: Aim: The study was conducted to examine the effects of the caregiver burden of parents whose child has a metabolic problem on perceived social support and quality of life. Methods: This study was carried out as a descriptive-relational study with 90 children and their parents who came to the endocrine department of Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital. The Zarit Caregiver Burden Scale (ZCBS), Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale (MSPSS) and Quality of Life Scale (QOLS) were used. Numbers, means, percentages, student t-test, Kruskal-Wallis and Pearson correlation were used in the evaluation of data. Result: For the parents who participated in the study, the mean age was 30.21 ± 6.10 and 78.9% were the mothers of the children, 52.2% of the children were females and 32.2% were diagnosed with phenylketonuria and 21.1% with biotinidase deficiency. The average score of the caregiver burden of the parents was 45.17 ± 9.08, the quality of life score was 20.51 ± 3.35, and the perceived social support score was 40.20 ± 8.55. It has been found that there is a negative relationship between the caregiver burden of the parents and quality of life, and the caregiver burden and perceived social support. It has been found that there is a negative relationship between the quality of life of the parents and the perceived social support (p<0.05). Conclusion: It was determined that there was a significant relationship between caregiver burden, quality of life and perceived social support.
