| dc.description.abstract | Gıda paketlerinde, konservelerde, kişisel bakım ürünlerinde, diş malzemelerinde ve günlük hayatta kullandığımız pek çok üründe bulunan Bisfenol A (BPA) gibi ksenobiyotikler, insan sağlığı için büyük tehdit oluşturmaktadır. Son yıllarda bu sentetik polimer üzerine yapılan çalışmalar, BPA maruziyetinin üreme sistemi, hormonal denge, pubertal gelişim üzerindeki yıkıcı etkilerini araştırmaktadır. Bu derlemede BPA maruziyetinin etki mekanizması ve insan vücudunda yarattığı tahribat üzerine yapılan çalışmalar özetlenmiş olup, günlük hayattaki BPA maruziyeti hakkında farkındalık oluşturmak amaçlanmıştır. Abstract Many products that we use in daily life such as packaged or canned foods, personal care products, dental materials contain Bisphenol A (BPA) as a xenobiotic which is one of the major threat to human health. In recent years, the studies on these synthetic polymers search for the devastating effects of the BPA exposure on reproductive system, hormon balance, pubertal development. In the present review, we summarized the relevant literature about the action mechanism of BPA exposure and its destroying effects on human body.
