| dc.description.abstract | Malatya Tekel tütün fabrikası'nda çalışan 125~ işçide cinsiyet, çalışma süresi ve sigara içme durumu dikkate alınarak spırometrik yöntemle akut ve kronik solunum fonksiyon kaybı olup olmadığı araştırıldı. Olguların 561'i (%44.6) erkek. 696'sı (%55.4) kadın idi. Erkeklerin 3~6'sı (%67.0) sigara içiyor. 108'i (%I9.3) sigara içmiyor. 'si (%I3. ~) sigarayı bırakmıştı. Kadınların 2~8'i (%39.9) sigara içiyor. 381'i (%>54.r) sigara içmiyor. 3~'sı (%5.4) ise sigarayı bırakmış idi. Sigara içen erkeklerin 210'unda (%55.8). kadınların 210'unda (%~5.6). sigara içmeyen erkeklerin 54'ünde (%50.0). kadınların 260’ında (%6fi.2). sigarayı bırakmış erkeklerin 39'unda (%50.6), kadınların 23'ünde (%62.2) akut solunum fonksiyon kaybı gözlendi. Bu oranlar istatistiksel olarak anlamlı idi (/> 0.01). Kronik solunum fonksiyon kaybı yönünden incelendiğinde sigara içen erkeklerin ISI'iıule (%>48.1), kadınların 159’unda (%5~.2). sigara içmeyen erkeklerin 41'inde (%38.0). kadınların 19¡'inde (%150.1). sigarayı bırakmış erkeklerin 44'ünde (%>5~ 2). kadınların 22'sinde (%59.4) solunum kaybı saptandı, liunlar istatiksel olarak anlamlı bulundu (p 0.01). Çalışma yıllarına göre akut ve kronik solunum fonksiyon kayıplarında istatistiksel yönden fark yoktu (p 0.05). Sigarayı bırakmış grup dışında kadınlardaki akut ve kronik solunum kaybı erkeklere göre daha fazla idi (p 0.05). Sigaranın solunum kayıpları üzerinde ilave olumsuz etkisi olduğu saptandı. Sonuçta, fabrika ortamının iyileştirilmesi ve sigara içen işçilerin sigarayı bırakmaları gereği üzerinde duruldu. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Acute and chronic decline of lung functions was investigated in 1257 workers of Malatya Tekel tobacco factory by spirometric method with regard to sex, duration of working and smoking status. Of the cases 561 (44.6%) were males. 696 (55.4%) females. Of males. 3"6 (67.0%) were smokers, 108 (19.3%) were non- smokers and (13.~%) ex-smokers. Of females, 2~8 (39.9%) were smokers, 38/(54. ~%) were non-smokers and 3~ (5.4%) ex-smokers. Acute lung function decline was observed in 210 (55.8%) male non-smokers, 210 (~5.6%>) female smokers and 54 (50.0%>) male non-smokers, 260 (68.2%) female non-smokers and 39 (50.6%) male ex-smokers. 23 (62.2%) female ex-smokers and these rations were statistically significant (p 0.01). Chronic lung function decline was seen in 181 (48.1%i) male smokers, 159 (5~.2%) female smokers and 41 (38.0%>) male non-smokers. 191 (50 !%) Jamele non-smokers and 44 (57.2%) male ex-smokers, 22 (59.4%) famele ex-smokers. These ratios were also statistically significant (p 0.01). There was no statistically difference between sexes for both acute ant chronic lung function declines (p '0.05). The deterioration of lung functions in femeles was more than males except ex-smokers (p- 0.05). Cigarette smoking insreased the deterioration of lung functions. It was concluded that the conditions of working should be improved and cigarette smoking be ceased. | en_US |
