| dc.description.abstract | Since the industrial revolution the most important research topics are focused on production increase and costs reduction. The arguments which were proposed by international trade and development theories could not provide reconstruction of the developing countries. While developing countries were trying to combat their own inadequacy, they waited the way out from miraculous ways such as the comparatively cheap labor, raw material exports, intermediate goods and assembly industry.The countries which have a great potential in agricultural areas such as Turkey could not even use their potential. Because the agriculture always has been thrown into the second plan and the source of development has been looked into the industry. Although the agricultural sector has a great potential as can not be neglected for Turkey, its contribution to GDP is really very small. However, 42% of active population still has worked into the agricultural sector. To be neglecting of the agricultural sector which is attracted attention by its contribution to employment and its minimalist aspect against effects of the crisis is not seen as beneficial for Turkey. The Privatization and liberalization policies of the governments especially emerged in recent years make Turkish agricultural sector dependent to outward and bring it in a situation as the market of developed countries. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Sanayi devriminden bugüne araştırmaların en önemli konuları üretim artışı ve maliyet düşüşü üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır. Uluslararası ticaret ve kalkınma teorilerinin önerdiği argümanlar gelişmekte olan ülkelerin kalkınmalarını ve gelişmelerini bir türlü sağlayamamıştır. Gelişmekte olan ülkeler kendi yetersizlikleriyle mücadele etmeye çalışırken, çareyi karşılaştırmalı üstün oldukları ucuz işgücü, hammadde ihracatı, ara mal ve montaj sanayi gibi mucizevi yöntemlerden beklediler. Türkiye gibi tarımsal alanda büyük potansiyele sahip ülkeler dahi bu potansiyelini kullanamamıştır. Çünkü tarım hep ikinci plana atılarak, gelişmenin kaynağı sanayide aranmıştır. Türkiye için tarım sektörü ihmal edilemeyecek kadar büyük bir potansiyele sahip olmasına karşın, gayrisafi milli hasılaya katkısı gerçekten çok küçüktür. Ancak aktif nüfusun % 42‟si hâlen tarım sektöründe çalışmaktadır. istihdama-işsizliğe katkısı ve krizlerin etkilerini hafifletici özelliğiyle de dikkat çeken tarım sektörünün ihmal edilmesi ülkemiz açısından yararlı görülmemektedir. Özellikle son yıllarda ortaya çıkan özelleştirme ve liberalleştirme politikalarının tarım sektörünü dışa bağımlı, ithalatçı ve gelişmiş ülkelerin pazarı durumuna getirmesi kaçınılmazdır. | en_US |
