Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, okul yöneticilerinin sahip oldukları mizah tarzlarını belirlemektir. Araştırma tarama
modelindedir. Araştırmanın örneklemi Kütahya’daki okullarda görev yapan 148 okul yöneticisinden
oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri Mizah Tarzları Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Ölçeğin, katılımcı, kendini
geliştirici, saldırgan ve kendini yıkıcı mizah olmak üzere dört alt ölçeği vardır. Araştırmada betimsel
istatistikler, t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, okul
yöneticilerinin mizah tarzı katılımcı mizah tarzına daha yakındır. Okul yöneticilerinin katılımcı mizah tarzı
kıdeme, hobilere ve mizah dergisi okuma durumuna; kendini geliştirici mizah tarzı yaşa ve hobilere;
saldırgan mizah tarzı okuldaki öğretmen sayısına göre anlamlı farklılık göstermektedir. Okul yöneticilerinin
katılımcı mizah tarzına sahip olması, yöneticiler ile öğretmenler arasındaki ilişkiye olumlu katkı yapabilir.
The purpose of this study is to determine humor styles of school administrators. This is a descriptive survey. The data were gathered by using Humor Style Questionnaire. The sample of the research consists of 148 school administrators. Humor Style Questionnaire composed of four sub-dimensions (self-enhancing, affiliative, aggressive, and self-defeating humor). Data were analyzed by utilizing descriptive statistics, t-tests and variance analyses. According to the results, it was determined that school administrators had an affiliative humor style. Affiliative humor style of school administrators significantly varies according to seniority, hobbies and reading comics; self-enhancing humor style according to age and hobbies; and aggressive humor style according to the number of teachers at school. School administrators have an affiliative humor styles can make a positive contribution to the relationship between school administrators and teachers.
