This study was conducted to examine how absurd situations encountered across various media platforms are reflected in the field of graphic design through the use of album covers and typography, in relation to contemporary generations' perceptions of humor. The content of the study includes analyses of album covers that were considered absurd in a particular period, alongside alternative album cover designs produced in line with today's humor perception, as well as typographic works created based on the dialogues of characters from daytime television programs within Turkish television culture. With the advancement of technology, the rapid dissemination of instantaneous and unconventional situations and their transformation into viral content have provided a substantial source of material for humor. As the diversity of humor has expanded, the visual expressive power of design has likewise increased. Through these developments, humor perception constantly evolving and shaped by technological and social change has been structured differently across generations and has demonstrated a visible influence on design practices. A review of the literature reveals that studies addressing this subject in a specific and focused manner are limited. However, anonymous designs related to this theme have been identified across social media platforms. Keywords: Absurdity, Humor, Graphic Design, Typography, Album Cover
