Özet
In recent years, NOSES has attracted the attention of experts from many countries and regions around the world. Combining their own surgical habits and local practical conditions, they applied the NOSES concept to different procedures and developed their own unique surgical methods. This chapter brings together the experiences of experts from around the world in NOSES for colorectal surgery. The topics discussed in this chapter include: (1) NOSES in colorectal surgery: Vietnamese experience, (2) natural orifice specimen extraction in laparoscopic anterior resection (NOSE-LAR): Taiwanese experience, (3) laparoscopic resection of tumors of left colon, sigmoid colon, and upper rectum with transanal specimen extraction (NOSES IV and VI): Portuguese experience, (4) laparoscopic total colectomy combined with NOSES: Turkish experience, and (5) totally laparoscopic colectomy for colorectal cancer with natural orifice specimen extraction combined with reduced-port surgery: Japanese experience. Through the experience of these experts, we can see that the universality of NOSES is the reason why it can be widely used in the world. It is hoped that the contents of this chapter will enable readers to broaden their horizons, understand the application of NOSES in different countries and regions, absorb the wisdom of different experts, and apply it in their own surgical practice. © People’s Medical Publishing House, PR of China 2023.
