Özet
Doğal kaynakların gittikçe azaldığı dünyamızda temiz ve verimli kimyanın geliştirilmesi ve uygulanması birçok kimyager tarafından hedef haline gelmiştir. Suschem 2005 gündemine göre dünya güvenli ve çevreye zararsız teknolojileri talep etmektedir. Üretilecek ürünlerin yapımında yenilenebilir enerji kaynakların etkili kullanılması; küçük tesislerde yeniden kullanıma sahip prosesler uygulanması; çoklu kullanım için tasarlanmış donanımlarla esneklik artırılarak maliyetlerin düşürülmesi önerilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, çevre dostu proseslerin geliştirilmesi amacıyla, öncelikle reaksiyon ortamı olarak su veya daha az toksik özellikteki çözgenlerin kullanımı, elektronik ve sterik etki oluşturabilecek vinil, dioksan ve ftalimit sübstitüyentli ligand içeren karben komplekslerinin sentezlenmesi amaçlamıştır. Böylece; son derece aktif ve/veya seçici, ancak sağlam, birlikte çalışılabilme potansiyeli yüksek katalizöler dizayn edilmiş olacaktır. Bu tezde yapılan çalışmalar beş başlıkta özetlenebilir: 1) Bu tezde karben öncülü olarak 4-vinilbenzil, N-propilftalimit ve 2-metil-1,4-benzodioksan sübstitüyentli benzimidazolyum tuzları 1a-d, 2a-e ve 3a-d sentezlenmiş ve yapıları uygun spektroskopik yöntemler ile aydınlatılmıştır. 2) Ag(I)-NHC kompleksleri 4a-d, 5a-ı ve 6a-d sentezlenen karben öncülleri 1a-d, 2a-e ve 3a-d bileşikleri ile Ag2O etkileştirilerek DCM içerisinde sentezlenmiş ve yapıları uygun spektroskopik yöntemler ile aydınlatılmıştır. 3) Sentezlenen Ag(I)-NHC kompleksleri PdCl2(PhCN)2 ile etkileştirilerek bis-Pd(II)-NHC kompleksleri 7a-d, 8a-e ve 9a-d hazırlanmış ve yapıları uygun spektroskopik yöntemlerle aydınlatılmıştır. 4) Sentezlenen Pd-NHC komplekslerinin arilasyon tepkimelerindeki katalitik aktiviteleri incelenmiştir. 5) Karben öncülleri ve Ag(I)-NHC komplekslerinin antimikrobiyal aktiviteleri incelenmiştir. In our world where natural resources are getting smaller and smaller, the development and application of clean and productive chemistry has become the target of many chemists. According to Suschem 2005, the world demands safe and harmless technologies. Effective use of renewable energy sources in the production of products to be produced, application of processes with reuse in smalling stallations, it is proposed to reduce costs by increasing flexibility with equipment designed formulti-use. In this work, the aim was to synthesize carbene complexes, which can primarily use water or less toxic solvents as the reaction medium, and containing vinyl, dioxane and phthalimide substituted ligands that generate electronic and steric effects, in order to developent vironmentally friendly processes. Thus, is desing highly active and / or selective, yet robust, high catalytic converter with a potential for interoperability. The work done in this thesis can be summarized in five chapters: 1) In this thesis, 4-vinylbenzyl, N-propylphthalimide and 2-methyl-1,4-benzodioxane substituted benzimidazolium salts 1a-d, 2a-e and 3a-d are synthesized as precursors of carbene and their structures are explained by suitable spectroscopic methods. 2) Ag(I)-NHC complexes 4a-d, 5a-1, and 6a-d were synthesized by reaction the synthesized carbene precursors 1a-d, 2a-e and 3a-d with Ag2O in DCM and their structures are explained by suitable spectroscopic methods. 3) The bis-Pd(II)-NHC complexes 7a-d, 8a-e and 9a-d were prepared by reaction the synthesized Ag(I)-NHC complexes with PdCl2(PhCN)2 in DCM and their structures are explained by suitable spectroscopic methods. 4) The catalytic activities of the synthesized Pd-NHC complexes have been investigated in the arylation reactions. 5) The antimicrobial activities of carbene primary and Ag(I)-NHC complexes have been investigated.
