| dc.description.abstract | 11 ÖZET Bu çalışmada, Kırşehir ve Malatya-Elazığ bölgelerinden toplanan Erinaceus cinsi üzerinde sitogenetik incelemeler yapıldı. Araştırmada 21 dişi ve 11 erkek olmak üzere toplam 32 adet kirpi kullanıldı.. "Colchicinehypotonic citrate" tekniği ile örneklerin kemik iliği preparatları yapıldı ve her bir örnek için en az 25 metafaz plağı sayımı yapılarak karyotipleri tespit edildi. Karyotip analizleri sonucunda: 2n=48, NF=94, NFa=90, olarak bulundu. Bu kromozomlardan, 12 çifti metasentrik, 6 çifti submetasentrik, 4 çifti subtelosentrik ve 1 çifti akrosentriktir. Gonozomlardan X kromozomu submetasentrik ve Y kromozomu metasentrik bulundu. Yapılan çalışma sonunda, populasyonlar arasında kromozom sayıları ve morfolojileri bakımından hiçbir fark bulunamadı. Elde edilen veriler, daha önce yapılmış olan diğer çalışmalarla karşılaştırılarak, sitogenetik ve taksonomik durumları tartışıldı. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | m SUMMARY In this study, a cytogenetic investigation was carried out on Hedgehogs collected from two different regions. In the study 32 hedgehog speciemens were used (21 female, 1 1 male), and the preparates from their bone marrow were prepared using "Colchicinehypotonic citrate" techniqae. For each individual sample, at least 25 metaphase plaques were counted and their karyotypes were determined. Analysis of all samples revealed a karyotypic set of 2n=48, NF=94, and NFa=90. Of those; 12 pairs metacentric, 6 pairs submetacentric, 4 pairs subtelocentric and one pair were acrocentric. X chromosome was determined as submetacentric and Y chromosome as metacentric. It was shown that there was no difference in respect to the number of chromosomes and their morphologia between the populations. The results were compared with previous studies. | en_US |
