Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı Malatya İli Yeşilyurt ve Battalgazi İlçelerindeki Aile Sağlığı Merkezlerinde görev yapan Aile Sağlığı Çalışanlarının hasta merkezli bakım yetkinliği düzeylerinin değerlendirilmesi ve hasta merkezli bakım yetkinliğine etki eden faktörlerin ortaya konulup değerlendirilmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Gözlemsel tanımlayıcı tipte yapılan bu çalışmada Malatya İli Yeşilyurt ve Battalgazi ilçelerindeki Aile Sağlığı Merkezlerinde Aile Sağlığı Çalışanı olarak görev yapan sağlık çalışanlarına yerinde ziyaret yapılarak sosyodemografik verileri içeren anket ve Hasta Merkezli Bakım Yetkinliği Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin Cronbach Alfa değeri 0,904 değeri ile yüksek derecede güvenilir bulunmuştur. 174 kişiye ulaşılmış, kriterleri karşılayan 166 kişiyle çalışma sonlandırılmıştır. Normal dağılıma uygunluk Shapiro-Wilk testi ile yapılmıştır. İstatistiksel analizlerde Mann-Whitney U testi, Kruskal Wallis testi kullanılmıştır. p<0,05 değeri istatistiksel olarak anlamlı kabul edilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılanların tamamı kadınlardan oluşmaktadır. Katılımcıların %41'i 36-40 yaş aralığında, %54,8'i lisans eğitim seviyesinde, %58,4'ü 11 yıl ve üzerinde meslek tecrübesine sahip, %59,6'sı ebelik bölümü mezunudur. Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate patient-centered care competence levels of family health workers practicing in family health centers in Yeşilyurt and Battalgazi districts of Malatya and to reveal the factors affecting patient-centered care competence. Materials and Method: In this observational descriptive study, health professionals practicing as family health workers(nurses, midwives, emergency medical technicians) in family health centers at Malatya Province, Yeşilyurt and Battalgazi districts were visited on site, and a questionnaire which includes sociodemographic data and the Patient-Centered Care Competency Scale were applied. The Cronbach Alpha value of the scale was found to be highly reliable as 0,904. 174 people were reached and 166 people were included in the study who met the inclusion criteria. Conformity to the normal distribution was made using the Shapiro-Wilk test. In statistical analysis, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis test were used where appropriate. Statistical significance was accepted as p <0.05. Results: All of the participants in the study were women. 41% of the participants were in the 36-40 age range, 54,8% were graduated from a university, 58,4% have 11 years or more professional experience, and 59,6% are midwifery graduates. Among the participants, it was determined that the patient-centered care competency score of 2 people (1,2%) was below the scale average (Mean=3) and 164 (98,8%) were above the average. The patient-centered care competency scale average of the participants was determined as 4,35. In the study, it was determined that there was no significant relationship between sociodemographic data and the scale scores. Conclusion: It has been concluded that the patient-centered care competencies of the Family Health Workers practicing in Yeşilyurt and Battalgazi Districts are at a sufficient level and that the sociodemographic data has no effect on the patient-centered care competency.
