Özet

Solvent extraction is applied to gain the metal from the leach solution or refine the solution. In this work, the usability of oleic acid as extractant for the gain of copper by solvent extraction method from aqueous solutions was examined. The effects of the solvent type, temperature, organic phase/aqueous phase ratio, stirring speed, and initial pH value on the extraction efficiency were studied. It was determined that the recovery efficiency of copper is low in case of using a solvent, while it is higher in case of using only oleic acid. It was observed that the amount of copper removed aqueous phase increased with increasing the stirring speed and initial pH value.
