| dc.description.abstract | İnsan yeryüzünde ölüm bilincine sahip olan tek varlıktır. O, bu bilinç sayesinde ölüm ve hayat hakkında düşünme, konuşma ve bir takım kritik soruları sorma imkânına sahiptir. Bu çalışmanın odaklandığı konuyu bazı temel sorular eşliğinde şu şekilde açabiliriz: Ölüm, bugün şimdi-burada olan insan ve onun yaşadığı hayat için ne anlama gelmektedir? Bunu bilmenin ve böyle bir şeyi tecrübe etmenin insan hayatı üzerinde nasıl bir dönüştürücü etkisi vardır? Ölüm, mimarînin, sanatın, edebiyatın, kültürün, tarih ve felsefenin açığa çıkmasında ve gelişmesinde herhangi bir rol oynar mı? Bu çalışma temelde ‘ölüm hadisesi beşerî düşünceyi nereye çağırır?’ sorusuna odaklanmakta, konuyu bu çerçevede felsefî açıdan tartışmaya ve analiz etmeye çalışmaktadır. Burada ileri süreceğimiz temel düşünce şudur: Ölüm, insanoğlunun karşısına bir kayıp, eksiklik, yokluk, trajedi ve hastalık değil, daha ziyade bir imkân olarak çıkmaktadır. Bu imkân, tek boyutlu değil, ölüm bilinci, yetkinleşme, sorgulama, insanın faniliği ve yaratıcı eserlerin açığa çıkması gibi çok boyutludur. Böylece ölüm, bir yandan, birçok imkânı beraberinde getirirken, bir yandan da ötekinin ölümünün tanıklığından hareketle soru sorma ve sorgulama tarzına dönüşmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Man is the only creature that has the consciousness of death on earth. Through this consciousness, man has the possibility to think, talk and ask certain critical questions concerning death and life. We can explain the topic of focus of this study with some basic questions as follows: What does death mean for the man who is here-now today and for the life he lives. What a transformative effect does knowing this and experiencing such a thing have on human life? Does death play a role in the emergence and development of architecture, art, literature, culture, history and philosophy? This study mainly focuses on the question of ‘Where does the event of death call for human thought?’ and tries to discuss and analyze philosophically the issue in this contex. The main notion we will put forward here is that: Death does not appear in front of human as a loss, deficiency, absence, tragedy or disease, but rather as a possibility.This possibility is not one-dimensional, but multidimensional, such as the consciousness of death, excelling, questioning, human mortality, and the emergence of creative works. Thus, while death brings with it many possibilities, it also turns into a way of asking and questioning based on the witnessing of the death of the other. | en_US |
