Özet
Myotonik Distrofilerde, kas güçsüzlüğü, solunumsal ve kardiyak fonksiyonların etkilenmesi ve malign hipertermi ve rabdomiyoliz gibi
potansiyel perioperatif komplikasyonlar görülebilmesi nedeniyle anestezi yönetimi önemlidir. Bu olguda, akut ileus nedeniyle cerrahi
girişim planlanan Myotonik Distrofi’li hastaya uyguladığımız propofol ile total intravenöz anestezi yönetimini sunmayı amaçladık. Bu
olgularda inhalasyon anestezikleri ve kas gevşeticilerden kaçınılması gerektiği ve propofol ile total intravenöz anestezi uygulamasının
güvenli bir alternatif olabileceğini düşünmekteyiz.
Myotonic Dystrophy is important from anesthetic point of view, because patients may have muscle weakness, respiratory, cardiac involvement, malignant hyperthermia and rabdomyolis can be precipitated. In the present report we described total intravenous anesthesia management for a patient with a myotonic dystrophy who underwent acute ileus. It was thought that inhalation agents and neuromuscular blockers must be avoided in these patients and total intravenous anesthesia with propofol can be a safe alternative technique.
