Özet
Cemaat yüzyıllar boyunca insanların içinde yer aldığı çok önemli bir sosyolojik olgu olmuştur. Bunun yanında günümüz teknolojik imkânları düşünüldüğünde insana dair pek çok unsur gerçek hayatın ötesinde internet ve sanal dünyada gerçekleşmektedir. Bu durum sanal cemaat kavramını kaçınılmaz hale getirmiştir. Sanal cemaat kavramını son derece detaylı incelemek gerekmektedir. Bu düşünceden hareketle doktora çalışması sanal cemaatler üzerine yapılmıştır. Eser iki ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde cemaat ve sanal dünya kavramları açıklanmıştır. Daha sonra bu iki temel kavramın birleşiminin ortaya çıkardığı sanal cemaat olgusu irdelenmiştir. Sanal cemaatin etkileriyle günlük yaşamın nasıl bir parçası haline geldiği üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde sosyoloji biliminin genel kabul gören inceleme metotları çerçevesinde gerçekleştirilen gözlemler doğrultusunda genel usullere uyularak oluşturulan mülakatlarla sanal cemaatlere üye insanların durumları ortaya konulmuştur. Bu bölümde sanal cemaatlere üye isimlerin çeşitli açılardan yaşama bakışları, nasıl davranışlar gösterdikleri ve bu davranışların geri planı açıklanmıştır.
Congregation has been a very important social phenomenon that people take place in for centuries. Considering today's technological possibilities of human nature, many factors beyond the internet and real life takes place in the virtual world. This situation lets the concept of virtual congregation inevitable. The concept of virtual community is extremely necessary to examine in detail. From this point of view, doctoral study has been done on virtual communities. This study consists of two main parts. The first section describes the concepts of community, and the virtual world. Then, the basic concept is the combination of these two cases reveals the virtual community were examined. It is emphasized that how could virtual congregation become everyday life part. In the second part , the science of sociology, according to the observations carried out within the framework of generally accepted methods of investigation interviews created in accordance with the general procedures to members of virtual communities of people were also determined. In this section, members of virtual communities of names from various angles about life, and how the behaviors in which they plan to return to these behaviors are described.
