dc.description.abstractCumhuriyet döneminde, ülke sınırları dışında özellikle deniz aşırı bölgelerde uzun süren savaşlar nedeniyle Roma Devleti'nde birtakım sıkıntılar yaşanmıştır. Roma Cumhuriyet döneminin sonlarına doğru G. Iulius Ceasar döneminde yapılan savaş harcamaları ülke içinde ekonomik ve siyasi birtakım sorunlara neden olmuştur. Bu nedenle Roma'da Ceasar'a karşı Senatus ve halkın ayaklanması sonrası bir devir kapanmıştır. Ceasar'ın ölümüyle birlikte yerine vâris olarak evlatlığı Octavianus'un (Augustus) geçmesiyle Roma'da sükûnet ortamı tekrar sağlamasından sonra Cumhuriyet dönemi son bulmuştur. Böylece Roma'da MÖ 27 yılında İmparatorluk dönemi başladı. MÖ 27- MS 68 yılları arasında Roma'da Iulius ve Claudius hanedanlık soyundan gelenlerin başa geçtiği dönemdir. Roma'da Iulius-Claudius hanedanlığıyla birlikte başlayan İmparatorluk döneminde Roma sınırları içinde ve dışındaki olaylar bir nebze olsa durulmuştur. MÖ 27- MS 68 yılları arası da Roma İmparatorluğu'nun dış politikası, büyük ölçüde imparatorların kişisel tercihlerine ve dönemin jeopolitik dinamiklerine bağlı olarak şekillenmiştir. Bu dönemde beş imparator hüküm sürmüştür. Her biri farklı stratejiler ve farklı önceliklerle hareket etmiştir. Genel olarak, Iulius-Claudius Hanedanlığı döneminde Roma'nın dış politikası daha çok mevcut sınırların korunması ve diplomasi yoluyla barışın sürdürülmesi üzerine kurgulanmıştır. Her imparatorun farklı stratejileri olsa da öncelikleri istikrar ve sınırların güvenliği olmuştur. dc.description.abstractDuring the Republic period, the Roman State experienced some troubles in Rome due to long wars outside the country's borders, especially in overseas regions. Towards the end of the Roman Republic period, the war expenses made during the reign of G. Julius Ceasar caused some economic and political problems within the country. For this reason, an era will end with the rebellion of the Senate and the people against Caesar in Rome. After Caesar's death, his adopted son Octavian (Augustus) succeeded him and ensured stability in Rome, the Republic period would end. With the end of the Republic period in Rome in 27 BC, the Imperial period began in Rome. 27-AD. It is the period between 68 BC and the period when the descendants of the Julius-Claudius Dynasty came to power in Rome. During the Imperial period, which started with the Julius-Claudian dynasty in Rome, events within and outside the borders of Rome calmed down to some extent. 27-AD. The foreign policy of the Roman Empire between 68 BC was largely shaped by the personal preferences of the Emperors and the geopolitical dynamics of the period. Five emperors reigned during this period. Each of them acted with different strategies and different priorities. In general, during the Julius-Claudian Dynasty, Rome's foreign policy was limited to expansionist moves and focused mostly on protecting existing borders and maintaining peace through diplomacy. Although each emperor had different strategies, their priorities were stability and security of the borders.
