Dr. Hüsamettin COŞKUN In the first chapter of this study which consists of three chapter; the basic definitions and theorems that known as mapping theorems in the literature was given briefly to make the next chapters can be understood. In the second chapter including the first original part of this study; the concept of a^- summability by introduced Savaş [1] was given and the conditions on infinite matris A was obtained to satisfy the set inclusions c C V^a), Va C Va{A) and V^a) C Va. Further, the class of matrices transforming the spaces m, c, Va and Sum into Va(A), the spaces of all cr(i4^-convergent sequences, was characterized. In the last chapter; a sublinear functional K(x) was defined on m and necessity and sufficient conditions for a infinite matris B to yield K(Bx) < L(x), K(Bx) < qff(x) and K(Bx) < fi(x) for all x G m are determined.
