Kronik sinüzit ve septum deviasyonu olan hastalardaki sefalometrik değişimlerin bilgisayarlı tomografi ile değerlendirilmesi

| dc.description.abstract | Amaç: Bu çalışmaKronik sinüzitli (KS), septum deviasyonlu (SD) hasta bireylerin ve kontrol grubu (KG) olarak kullanılacak sağlıklı bireylerin sefalometrik ölçümlerinin nasıl değişim gösterdiğinin Bilgisayarlı Tomografi (BT) ölçümleri ile belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Çalışma İnönü Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Anatomi Anabilim Dalı ve Turgut Özal Tıp Merkezi Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Radyoloji Anabilim Dalı'nda gerçekleştirildi. Çalışmamız 20-51 yaş arasında değişen toplam 153 (77 kadın, 76 erkek) hastadan alınmış paranasal BT görüntüleri kullanılarak retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi. Çalışmaya dâhil edilen her BT görüntüsünde toplam 15 sefalometrik parametre değerlendirildi. Verilerin normal dağılıma uygunluğu Kolmogorov Smirnov testi ile incelendi. KS, SD ve KG'ndaki hastaların aynı yaş gruplarını karşılaştırmak için verilere Kruskall Wallis H testi uygulandı. Aynı grup içindeki hastaların karşılaştırılması için verilere Mann Whitney U testi uygulandı. Bulgular: Erkek ve kadın hastaları karşılaştırdığımızda analiz sonuçlarına göre KS'ligrupta,Sna-EgT Snp-EgT, Sna-H, Snp-H, SMVÇ-R, MSM; SD' ligrupta,Sna-Snp, Sna-EgT, Snp-EgT, Sna-H, Snp-H, SMH-R, SMH-L SMVÇ-R, SMTÇ-L, SMVÇ-Lve KG iseSna-EgT, Snp-EgT, Sna-H, Snp-H parametrelerinde anlamlı fark olduğu belirlendi (p<0.05). KS, SD ve KG' ndaki 20-35 ve 36-51 Yaş arası erkekleri 3'lü karşılaştırdığımızda MPA-R, SMH-L, SMTÇ-L,SMVÇ-L, MPA-R parametrelerinde anlamlı fark bulundu(p<0.05). KS, SD ve KG' ndaki 20-35 ve 36-51 yaş arası kadınları 3'lü karşılaştırdığımızda ise SMVÇ-L parametresinde anlamlı fark bulundu (p<0.05). Sonuç: Sefalometrik analizlerimiz sonucu belirli parametrelerin KS ve SD hastalıklarında anatomik yapılar ile ilgili değerlendirmelerde uzmanlara kolaylık sağlayabileceğini düşünmekteyiz. | dc.description.abstract | Aim: In this study it is aimed to determine how the cephalometric measurements of patients with chronic sinusitis (KS), septum deviation (SD) and healthy individuals to be used as a control group (CG) change with Computed Tomography (CT) measurements. Material and Method: The study was carried out in İnönü University Faculty of Medicine Department of Anatomy and Turgut Özal Medical Center Training and Research Hospital Department of Radiology. Our study was evaluated retrospectively using paranasal CT images taken from a total of 153 (77 female, 76 male) patients aged 20-51 years. A total of 15 cephalometric parameters were evaluated in each CT image included in the study. The conformity of the data to the normal distribution was examined with the Kolmogorov Smirnov test. Kruskall Wallis H test was applied to the data to compare the same age groups of patients in KS, SD and CG. Mann Whitney U test was applied to the data to compare the patients within the same group. Results: When we compared male and female patients according to the analysis results, in the group with KS, Sna-EgT Snp-EgT, Sna-H, Snp-H, SMVÇ-R, MSM; In SD group, Sna-Snp, Sna-EgT, Snp-EgT, Sna-H, Snp-H, SMH-R, SMH-L SMVÇ-R, SMTÇ-L, SMVÇ-L, and CG while Sna-EgT, Snp-EgT, Sna-H, Snp-H parameters were found to be significantly different (p<0.05). When we compared the men aged 20-35 and 36-51 years in KS, SD and CG in threes, a significant difference was found in MPA-R, SMH-L, SMTÇ-L, SMVÇ-L, MPA-R parameters (p<0.05). When we compared the women between the ages of 20-35 and 36-51 in KS, SD and CG, a significant difference was found in the SMVÇ-L parameter (p<0.05). Conclusion: We think that certain parameters as a result of cephalometric analyzes may provide convenience to specialists in the evaluation of anatomical structures in KS and SD diseases.
