| dc.description | Öz (İngilizce):Objective: The characteristics of eleven female patients who admitted to our clinic with turban pin aspiration since October 1996 were investigated. Method: The study was performed retrospectively. Results: The age of the patients ranged between 12 and 41. All patients except two, admitted within the day of aspiration after 2-12 hours. The other two patients admitted on the fifth day of aspiration. The aspirated pin was localized in the right lung in seven, and in the left lung in four of the patients. The pin was removed successfully with flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy (FOB) in eight out of eleven patients. One of these patients had an unsuccessful intervention with rigid bronchoscopy. The pin was removed using both rigid and flexible bronchoscopes in one of the patients. Thoracotomy was performed in two patients, since both rigid and flexible bronchoscope was unsuccessful in removing the pin.Conclusion: Flexible FOB performed under local anesthesia is a successful method in removing the pins in patients. admitting with pin aspiration. It should be performed primarily in patients admitting within the day of aspiration. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Amaç: Ekim 1996'dan buyana türban iğnesi aspirasyonu ile kliniğimize başvuran 11 kadın hastanın özellikleri incelendi. Yöntem: Çalışma retrospektif olarak yapıldı. Bulgular: Hastalarımızın yaşları 12 ile 41 arasında değişmekteydi. İki hastamız hariç tüm hastalar aspirasyonun olduğu gün, 2-12 saat içinde başvurmuştu. Diğer iki hasta ise aspirasyondan 5 gün sonra başvurmuştu. Aspire edilen iğne 7 hastada sağ akciğerde, 4 hastada ise sol akciğerde lokalize idi. Onbir hastanın 8'inde iğne fiberoptik bronkoskop ile çıkarılabildi. Bu hastalardan birine önce rijid bronkoskopi uygulanmış ancak başarısız olunmuştu. Bir hastada iğne rijid bronkoskopun içinden fleksibl fiberoptik bronkoskop geçirilerek çıkarıldı. İki hastada ise fleksibl ve rijid bronkoskopi girişimleri ile başarısız olunması üzerine iğne torakotomi ile çıkarıldı. Yorum: İğne aspirasyonu ile başvuran hastalarda lokal anestezi ile uygulanan fiberoptik bronkoskopi oldukça başarılı bir yöntemdir ve özellikle erken başvuran hastalarda öncelikle denenmelidir. | en_US |
