dc.description.abstractAmaç: Bu araştırma ayak refleksolojisi ve terapötik dokunmanın (TD) hemodiyaliz tedavisi gören kadınlarda yorgunluk, depresyon ve cinsel yaşam kalitesi üzerindeki etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Materyal ve metot: Araştırma ön test son test kontrol gruplu randomize kontrollü olarak gerçekleştirildi. Araştırma, refleksoloji, TD ve kontrol gruplarındaki toplam 108 hemodiyaliz tedavisi alan kadın ile tamamlandı. Veriler, Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Yorgunluk Şiddeti Ölçeği (YŞÖ), Beck Depresyon Ölçeği (BDÖ) ve Cinsel Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği-Kadın (CYKÖ-K) kullanılarak toplandı. Refleksoloji ve TD gruplarına, dört hafta süresince haftada iki kez uygulama yapılarak, toplamda sekiz seans gerçekleştirildi. Verilerin analizinde Welch testi, tek Yönlü ANOVA, ilişkili örneklemler için t testi, Cohen's d ve Omega-kare kullanıldı. Bulgular: Gruplar arası karşılaştırmalar sonucunda, refleksoloji ve TD uygulanan gruplarda, kontrol grubuna kıyasla son test puanlarında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar saptandı (p<0.05). Araştırmada Refleksoloji ve TD gruplarında müdahale öncesi ve sonrası değerlendirildiğinde, YŞÖ (5.82±1.36'dan 1.92±0.73'e; 5.55±1.50'den 1.84±1.41'e) ve BDÖ puanlarının ise (37.97±16.21'den 6.31±5.22'ye; 37.97±16.21'den 9.83±8.50'ye) anlamlı şekilde azaldığı, CYKÖ-K puanlarının sırasıyla (18.58±18.88'den 80.46±11.97'ye; 24.06±18.88'den 79.88±16.05'e) anlamlı düzeyde yükseldiği belirlendi (p<0.05). Sonuç: Refleksoloji ve TD'nin yorgunluk ve depresyonu azalttığı, cinsel yaşam kalitesini arttırdığı saptandı. Kadın sağlığı alanındaki hemşirelerin, hemodiyaliz tedavisi alan kadınların bakımında refleksoloji ve TD gibi tamamlayıcı yaklaşımları kullanmaları önerilmektedir.
dc.description.abstractAim: This study was conducted to determine the effects of foot reflexology and therapeutic touch on fatigue, depression and sexual quality of life in women receiving hemodialysis treatment. Material and method: The study was conducted as a randomized controlled trial with a pre-test, post-test, and control group design. It was completed with a total of 108 women undergoing hemodialysis treatment in the reflexology, TD (Therapeutic Touch), and control groups. Data were collected using the Personal Information Form, Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), and Sexual Quality of Life-Female (SQOL-F) scale. Reflexology and TD groups received a total of eight sessions, administered twice a week for four weeks. For data analysis, Welch's test, one-way ANOVA, paired samples t-test, Cohen's d, and omega squared were used. Results: As a result of intergroup comparisons, statistically significant differences were found in post-test scores in the reflexology and TD groups compared to the control group (p<0.05). In the study, when pre- and post-intervention scores were compared within the reflexology and TD groups, a significant decrease was observed in FSS scores (from 5.82±1.36 to 1.92±0.73; from 5.55±1.50 to 1.84±1.41) and BDI scores (from 37.97±16.21 to 6.31±5.22; from 37.97±16.21 to 9.83±8.50). Conversely, a significant increase was found in SQOL-F scores (from 18.58±18.88 to 80.46±11.97; from 24.06±18.88 to 79.88±16.05) (p<0.05). Conclusion: Reflexology and TD reduced fatigue and depression and improved sexual quality of life. Their use is recommended in the care of hemodialysis patients by women's health nurses.
