ÖĞRENCİLERİN TOPLUMSAL CİNSİYET ALGILARINI ETKİLEYEN DEMOGRAFİK NİTELİKLERİN BELİRLENMESİNE YÖNELİK BİR ARAŞTIRMA

| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Cinsiyet bireyin biyolojik yönünü ifade etmektedir; ancak bireyin içinde doğduğu toplum tarafından cinsiyete yüklenen anlamlar toplumsal cinsiyeti beraberinde getirmektedir. Cinsiyete yüklenen kültürel anlam ve beklentiler, kadın ve erkeğin iş hayatında, evde, siyasette, sokakta nasıl davranması ve hangi rolleri üstlenmesi gerektiğine dair kalıpyargıları da oluşturmaktadır. Toplumsal cinsiyete yüklenen anlamlar özellikle kadınlar açısından bazı eşitsizlikleri ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Üniversite öğrencilerinin toplumsal cinsiyete bakış açılarının kalıpyargılardan uzaklaştırılması gelecek nesiller açısından önem arz etmektedir. Bu noktadan hareketle çalışmanın temel amacı İnönü Üniversitesi İİBF’de birinci sınıfta okuyan öğrencilerin toplumsal cinsiyet algılarını etkileyen demografik niteliklerini belirlemektir. Bu bağlamda araştırmanın evrenini İnönü Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi’nde birinci sınıfta okuyan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak 5’li likert ölçeğine göre hazırlanmış "Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolleri Tutum Ölçeği” ve demografik niteliklerle ilgili soruların yer aldığı bir anket formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada 676 öğrenciden veri elde edilmiş olup bu veriler SPSS programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Öncelikle ölçeğin güvenilir olup olmadığı Cronbach’s Alpha testi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Öğrencilerin toplumsal cinsiyet algılamalarını etkileyen demografik nitelikleri belirlemek amacıyla Çoklu Regresyon Analizi kullanılmış ve bu analiz sonucunda demografik niteliklerin tamamının hangi oranda toplumsal cinsiyet algısı üzerinde etkili olduğu saptanmıştır. | dc.description.abstract | Öz: Sex is the biologic orientation of the individual; but the meaning that the individual is burdened with by the society, in which it is born, brings the gender with it. The meaning and anticipations that are loaded into the gender also constitute the stereotypes of how woman and man should behave in the business life, at home, in politics, in the streets, and in what roles they should undertake. Assigned meanings to the gender reveal some inequalities, especially for women. The removal of social gender perspectives of university students from stereotypes is important for future generations. From this point of view, the main purpose of the study is to determine the demographic characteristics which affect gender perceptions of students who study in first grade at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Inonu University. In this context, the universe of the research is constituted by the students who study in the first class at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Inonu University. In the study, a questionnaire is used to collect data on the “The Gender Role Attitudes Scale” prepared according to the 5 point Likert scale and questions about demographic characteristics. 676 student questionnaires are applied. The data obtained by using the survey method of similar subjects and the questionnaire technique which is written question technique is analyzed using SPSS program. First, the reliability of the scale is assessed by Cronbach's Alpha test. Finally, Multicore Regression Analysis is used to determine the demographic characteristics that affect students' gender perceptions, and after this analysis the extent to which the demographic characteristics, as a whole, are influenced by the gender perceptions is determined and it is also found that, how each demographic variable, alone, is effective on the gender perceptions. According to the results, all the models that set up during the research are significant. | en_US |
