dc.description.abstractAmaç: Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Türkiye Ampute Futbol Milli Takımı'nın uluslararası başarılarında etkili olan başarı motivasyonu unsurlarını derinlemesine incelemektir. 2017–2021 Avrupa Şampiyonlukları ve 2022 Dünya Şampiyonluğu bağlamında, sporcuların bireysel ve kolektif motivasyon kaynaklarını sosyolojik bir perspektifle analiz etmek hedeflendi. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemine dayalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Veri toplama sürecinde, Türkiye Ampute Futbol Milli Takımı'nda yer alan sporcular (n=23), teknik ekip üyeleri (n= 2) ve yöneticilerle (n=2) yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler gerçekleştirildi. Elde edilen veriler, tematik analiz yöntemi ile çözümlenmiş ve katılımcıların ifadeleri üzerinden anlamlı temalar oluşturuldu. Bulgular: Analiz sonucunda başarı motivasyonunu şekillendiren beş ana tema belirlenmiştir. İlk olarak, sporcuların başarıya ulaşmasında vatan sevgisi ve millî bilinç belirleyici bir rol oynamaktadır; sporcular temsil ettikleri ülkeye duydukları aidiyetle motive oldukları belirlendi. İkinci olarak, toplumsal rol model olma ve görünürlük arzusu, engelli bireylerin görünürlüğünü artırma sorumluluğu ile birleşerek motivasyonlarını güçlendirdikleri tespit edildi. Üçüncü tema olan maddi mücadele ve kurumsal yetersizliklerle baş etme, sporcuların karşılaştıkları finansal zorluklara rağmen direnç geliştirdikleri tespit edildi. Dördüncü olarak, beden ve zamanın yeniden inşası, sporcuların engellerine rağmen bedenlerini performans aracı olarak yeniden tanımladıkları görüldü. Son olarak, kolektif aidiyet ve takımdaşlık bilinci, takım ruhunun ve dayanışmanın başarı motivasyonunda temel bir unsur olduğu tespit edildi. Sonuç: Türkiye Ampute Futbol Milli Takımı'nın başarı motivasyonu, geleneksel anlamda sportif hırs ve rekabetten ziyade, temsil sorumluluğu, sosyal görünürlük, fedakârlık ve direniş kimliği gibi çok katmanlı ve toplumsal olarak şekillenen unsurlara dayanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, çalışma hem spor sosyolojisi hem de engellilik çalışmaları literatürüne özgün katkılar sunacak ve engelli sporcuların motivasyon yapısını anlamada önemli bir çerçeve sağlayabileceği düşünülmektedir. dc.description.abstractPurpose: The main purpose of this study is to deeply examine the success motivation elements that are effective in the international success of the Turkish Amputee Football National Team. In the context of the 2017–2021 European Championships and the 2022 World Championship, it was aimed to analyze the individual and collective motivation sources of athletes from a sociological perspective. Material and Method: The research was conducted based on qualitative research methods. During the data collection process, semi-structured interviews were conducted with athletes (n=23), technical team members (n=2) and managers (n=2) in the Turkish Amputee Football National Team. The obtained data were analyzed with thematic analysis method and meaningful themes were created based on the participants' statements. Findings: As a result of the analysis, five main themes were determined that shaped the motivation for success. First, love of country and national consciousness play a decisive role in the athletes' success; it was determined that the athletes were motivated by their sense of belonging to the country they represented. Second, it was determined that the desire to be a social role model and visibility, combined with the responsibility of increasing the visibility of disabled individuals, strengthened their motivation. The third theme, financial struggle and coping with institutional inadequacies, determined that the athletes developed resilience despite the financial difficulties they faced. Fourth, the reconstruction of body and time, determined that the athletes redefined their bodies as a performance tool despite their disabilities. Finally, it was determined that collective belonging and team spirit, team spirit and solidarity were a fundamental element in the motivation for success. Conclusion: The motivation for success of the Turkish Amputee Football National Team is based on multi-layered and socially shaped elements such as representation responsibility, social visibility, sacrifice and resistance identity rather than traditional sports ambition and competition. In this context, the study will make original contributions to both sports sociology and disability studies literature and will provide an important framework for understanding the motivational structure of disabled athletes.
