| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Hemifaşiyal spazm, yüzün bir yansının kısmi ya da tümünü içine alan sürekli seyirme ve değişken şiddette irregüler klonik kasılmalardır. Genelde ağız ve göz çevresinde en belirgindir. Bu durum aynı taraflı fasiyal sinirin irritatif lezyonu ya da Bell felcinin sekeli sonucu olabilir. Sunulan olguda travma sonrası ipsilateral fasiyal sinir paralizi yanısıra, kontralateral hemifaşiyal spazm mevcuttur. Bu sadece çapraz etkilenmeye mükemmel bir örnek olmayıp göz kırpma refleksi ve ilgili kasların EMG'si ile kayda değerdir. [Turgut Özal Tıp Merkezi Dergisi 1996;3(4): 359-362] Başlık (İngilizce): Cross interaction in a patient with traumatic hemifacial spasm Öz (İngilizce): The hemifacial spasm is continual twitching movements and irregular clonic contractions of varying degree on one side of the face partially or totally. Usually it is maximal around the eye and mouth. This condition may be due to an irritative lesion of the facial nerve or may represent a sequela of a Bell's palsy. In this case presented, posttraumatic ipsilateral facial nerve paralysis and contralateral hemifacial spasm are present.
