This study aims to examine the attitudes of students studying at Fine Arts High Schools toward instrumental training courses in terms of various variables. Music holds a significant place in human life due to its multidimensional aspects. In this regard, music has sometimes served as a means of rehabilitation for individuals and has sometimes been present in every moment of daily life. Therefore, music, which plays a crucial role in shaping human life, has also become central in the field of education. In the study, a literature review was first conducted to support the research. As a methodology, the descriptive survey model was employed, and the effects of dependent variables on independent variables were analyzed using various statistical data. The research was conducted directly on the sample group, and SPSS 21.0 analysis software was used as a data measurement tool. A significance level of p < .05 was adopted to determine significant differences between variables. Additionally, the arithmetic mean (x̄ ) was taken into account in the interpretation of the data. Significant differences were observed, particularly in terms of gender and grade level, based on t-tests and variance analysis. The analysis of the data indicates that students generally have a positive attitude toward instrumental training courses; however, areas for improvement have also been identified. As a result, it is recommended that guidance services periodically provide students with information about the importance of each course. Additionally, career days should be organized in schools to help students understand that the musical instrument they are learning can provide them with positive outcomes in terms of both employment opportunities and career development in the future. © 2025, Tolga Karaca.
