Grace Lin'in Türkçeye çevrilmiş çocuk edebiyatı ürünlerinin bibliyoterapi unsurlarına göre incelenmesi

Özet
Bibliyoterapi, kitapların tedavi etme ve iyileştirme gücünden yararlanarak bireyin daha sağlıklı bir gelişim süreci yaşamasını sağlayan bir yöntemdir. Bu araştırmada, Grace Lin'in 2024 yılından önce Türkçeye çevrilmiş üç çocuk edebiyatı eserinin bibliyoterapi unsurlarına göre incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bibliyoterapi unsurlarının belirlenebilmesi için alanyazın çalışmaları incelenmiş ve bibliyoterapi ölçütlerinin neler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak Işık (2023) tarafından geliştirilen ve 25'i bilişsel gelişim, 17'si sosyal gelişim ve 7'si duygusal gelişim alanıyla ilişkili olan değerlendirme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemi doküman durum deseni ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular betimsel analiz tekniğiyle analiz edilmiştir. Eserler ve toplanan veriler "Çocuk Edebiyatı Eserlerini Bibliyoterapi Ölçütlerine Göre Değerlendirme Formu" aracılığıyla incelenmiştir. İncelemeler sonucunda bilişsel gelişim, sosyal gelişim ve duygusal gelişim alanıyla ilgili toplam 1144 bibliyoterapi unsuru tespit edilmiş ve gelişim alanlarında yer alan ölçütlere göre kategorize edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında incelenen eserlerin bibliyoterapi unsurlarınından en çok üst düzey düşünme becerilerinin geliştirilmesi, okuma alışkanlığı kazandırılması, çevreye karşı duyarlı olunması, iş birliği ve paylaşım becerilerinin geliştirilmesi, geleceğe yönelik patojenik beklentilerin (kendini koruma başarısızlığı, çaresizliği, emniyet ve güven eksikliği vb.) önlenmesi ve ruh sağlığının korunması ile ilgili olduğu görülmüştür. Tespit edilen bibliyoterapi unsurlarından hareketle Grace Lin'in incelenen eserlerinin bibliyoterapi uygulamalarında kullanılabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları ve sonuçları doğrultusunda uygulayıcılar ve araştırmacılar için önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Bibliotherapy is a method that enables the individual to experience a healthier development process by utilizing the therapeutic and healing power of books. In this study, it is aimed to analyze Grace Lin's three works of children's literature translated into Turkish before 2024 according to bibliotherapy elements. In order to determine the elements of bibliotherapy, literature studies were examined and bibliotherapy criteria were determined. The evaluation form developed by Işık (2023), 25 of which are related to cognitive development, 17 to social development and 7 to emotional development, was used as a data collection tool. The research was conducted with qualitative research method document case design. The findings were analyzed with descriptive analysis technique. The works and the collected data were analyzed through the "Form for Evaluating Children's Literature Works According to Bibliotherapy Criteria". As a result of the examinations, a total of 1144 bibliotherapy elements related to cognitive development, social development and emotional development were identified and categorized according to the criteria in the development areas. Among the bibliotherapy elements of the works examined within the scope of the research, it was seen that the most common bibliotherapy elements were related to the development of high-level thinking skills, gaining reading habits, being sensitive to the environment, developing cooperation and sharing skills, preventing pathogenic expectations for the future (self-protection failure, helplessness, lack of safety and trust, etc.) and protecting mental health. Based on the bibliotherapy elements identified, it was concluded that Grace Lin's works can be used in bibliotherapy practices. In line with the findings and results of the research, suggestions were made for practitioners and researchers.
