Özet
Sistem dinamiği, karmaşık sistemlerin davranışları ile ilgilenen, matematik, fizik ve mühendislik alanındageliştirilen doğrusal olmayan dinamikler ve bunların geri besleme döngülerinin kontrolünde kullanılan biryöntemdir. Sistem düşüncesi yaklaşımının eğitim alanında kullanılmasıyla öğrencilerin soyut kavramlarısomutlaştırabildikleri, konulara bütünsel bir bakış açısı ile yaklaştıkları, problem çözme yeteneklerinin geliştiğigörülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı; sistem düşüncesi yaklaşımına dayalı muhasebe eğitiminin,öğrencilerin akademik başarılarına etkisini araştırmak ve muhasebe eğitimine yeni bir öğretim yaklaşımıkazandırmaktır. Araştırmada öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Sistem düşüncesiyaklaşımına göre tasarlanmış öğretim yönteminin uygulandığı grup deney, geleneksel anlatım temelli öğretimyönteminin uygulandığı grup kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin SPSS 22 paketprogramları ile analizi yapılmış ve raporlanmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda; sistem düşüncesi yaklaşımınadayalı muhasebe eğitiminin öğrencilerin akademik başarıları üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir.Sistem düşüncesi yaklaşımı ile öğrencilerin ders konularını, konular arasındaki bağlantıları ve sebep sonuçilişkilerini daha iyi anladıkları tespit edilmiştir
System dynamics is a method that deals with the behavior of complex systems and is used in the control of nonlinear dynamics and their feedback loops developed in the field of mathematics, physics, and engineering. With the use of the systems thinking approach in the field of education, it is seen that students can concretize abstract concepts, approach issues with a holistic perspective, and their problem-solving skills improve. The main purpose of this study is; to investigate the effect of accounting education based on systems thinking approach on the academic success of students and to bring a new teaching approach to accounting education. In the research, an experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group was used. The group in which the teaching method designed according to the systems thinking approach was applied was determined as the experiment group and the group in which the traditional expression-based teaching method was applied was the control group. The obtained data were analyzed and had reported with SPSS 22 package programs. As a result of the analysis it was been determined that accounting education based on systems thinking approach has a significant effect on students' academic success. With the system thinking approach, it has been determined that students better understand the course topics, the connections among the topics, and the cause and effect relationships.
