Aim: Study was carried out to determine effect of the Relactation Support Program on milk secretion, mother-infant attachment and motherhood role. Material and Method: Research in the single-group pre-test post-test trial model was carried out between October 2021 and October 2022 ASMs in Kahramanmaraş city center and its districts registered to with 34 mothers who had a 1-4 month old baby and who stopped breastfeeding at least 15 day and at most 3 months ago. The research was completed in 15 days, with eight home visits and seven telephone support. Mothers were given breastfeeding and finger feeding training at the first visit. Data were collected through Personal Information Form, Mother-Infant Follow-up Form, MDI and BAFÖ. Results: It was determined that 64.7% of the mothers started to express milk and it was realized in the first 6th day, on average 8.95±2.17 days. It was determined that the relactation support program significantly increased the frequency of breastfeeding, milking and nipple stimulation (p<0.001). It was determined that as the duration of stopping breastfeeding decreased, the success of relactation increased significantly (p<0.001) and the onset of milk secretion did not make a significant difference in the weight gain of the infants (p>0.05). In study, it was determined that maternal functions and maternal attachment increased significantly (p<0.001) and the onset of milk secretion significantly increased maternal function and maternal attachment level (p<0.05). Conclusion: It was concluded that the Relactation Support Program increased milk secretion, maternal attachment and maternal functions.
