Özet
Bu çalışmada, bor kaynağı olarak borik asit (H3BO3) ve boraks dekahidrat (Na2B4O7.10H2O), bakır kaynağı olarak da bakır nitrat trihidratın (Cu(NO3)2.3H2O) sulu çözeltileri kullanılarak çöktürme yöntemi ile bakır borat üretimi incelenmiştir. Çöktürme deneyleri iki farklı grupta yapılmıştır. Birinci grup deneylerde H3BO3 ile Cu(NO3)2.3H2O'ın sulu çözeltileri, ikinci grup deneylerde ise Na2B4O7.10H2O ile Cu(NO3)2.3H2O'ın sulu çözeltileri kullanılmıştır. Deneyler esnasında farklı reaksiyon sürelerinde çözeltiden alınan örneklerde Cu2+ ve B2O3 analizleri yapılmış ve çöken B2O3 ve Cu2+ miktarları hesaplanmıştır. Deneylerde bakır borat oluşumu üzerine çözelti pH'ı, B2O3/Cu mol oranı, reaksiyon sıcaklığı ve reaksiyon süresinin etkileri araştırılmıştır.
In this work, the production of copper borate was investigated by precipitation method using boric acid (H3BO3) and borax decahydrate (Na2B4O7.10H2O) as boron source, and copper nitrate trihydrate (Cu(NO3)2.3H2O) as copper source. The precipitation experiments were performed in two different groups. In the first group of experiments, aqueous solutions of H3BO3 and Cu(NO3)2.3H2O were used, while in the second group of experiments, aqueous solutions of Na2B4O7.10H2O and Cu(NO3)2.3H2O were used. During the experiments, the contents of Cu2+ and B2O3 in the samples drawn from solution at different reaction times were determined, and the amounts of the precipitated Cu2+ and B2O3 were calculated. In the experiments, the effects of the solution pH, molar ratio of B2O3/Cu, reaction temperature and reaction time on the formation of copper borate were examined.
