Aim: This research aimed to investigate the effects of aerobic and anaerobic tests on Mental Toughness and psychological resilience. Material and Method: In line with the determined purpose, the research was conducted according to the correlational research model, one of the quantitative research types. The sample of the research consisted of 180 male athletes. Aerobic performance was determined by the Cooper Test and Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery tests, while anaerobic performance was determined by the Vertical Jump Test and the Running Anaerobic Sprint Test (RAST). Mental Toughness was measured using the Mental Toughness Scale developed by Erdoğan (2016), and psychological resilience was measured using the Psychological Resilience Scale for Adults developed by Arslan (2015). Data analysis was performed using the GNU PSPP 0.10.1 statistical package program. The relationship between variables was evaluated using the Pearson Correlation test, and the effect was assessed by calculating the R2 effect size coefficient. Results: According to the statistical analysis results obtained from the research, a positive and moderately significant relationship was found between all values obtained from both aerobic and anaerobic performance tests and all values obtained from both the Mental Toughness Scale and the Psychological Resilience Scale (p<0.01). Additionally, the R2 effect size values for all these significant relationships were found to be in the medium range, between .10 and .20. Conclusion: As a result, it can be said that the increase in both aerobic and anaerobic performance of athletes may have a moderately significant positive effect on their Mental Toughness and psychological resilience.
