Özet
Molecular oxygen is used in various biochemical reactions including the process of oxidative phosphorylation, but when oxygen control is not provided, ROS genesis increases. The product of increased ROS genesis is the product oxidative stress formation; mitochondrial function may be impaired or cell viability may be affected. Depending on the effect, the cells may activate pathways that result in cellular suicide or damage that can be corrected. Therefore, this study, aims to give information about the mechanisms of oxidative stress-mediated apoptosis, to provide updatesfor previous studies update and some of the current paradigms discussed and to provide a basis for future studies. This review highlights the elementary value of apoptosis, including its effect on tissue homeostasis and cellular stress. © 2018 Nova Science Publishers, Inc. All rights reserved.
