Özet
Süleyman Nazif Efendi, Klasik Türk edebiyatının 19. yüzyıl şair ve nasirlerindendir. Klasik edebiyatımızın geleneksel sanat anlayışına uygun olarak şiirler ve nesirler yazmıştır. Tez çalışmamız Süleyman Nazif Efendi'nin hayatı, edebî şahsiyeti ve elimizdeki tek eseri olan Eş'âr ve Münşeât'ının çeviri yazısını kapsamaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmamız üç ana bölüme ayrılmıştır. İlk bölümde Süleyman Nazif Efendi'nin hayatı hakkında bilgi verilip edebî şahsiyeti değerlendirilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Eş'âr ve Münşeât, şekil ve muhteva yönleri ile iki alt başlıkta incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde de eserin çeviri yazısı verilmiştir. Bu tez çalışması ile Süleyman Nazif Efendi ve bilinen tek eseri olan Eş'âr ve Münşeât'ının tanıtılması amaçlanmıştır. Süleyman Nazif Efendi is one of the poets and prosers in the 19th century. He wrote poems and proses related to traditional artistic sytle of our classical literatüre. Our thesis consists of Süleyman Nazif Efendi's life, his literal character and the translation of his only book we have "Eş'âr ve Münşeât". In this case our thesis leads to three main sections. In the first section, the life of Süleyman Nazif Efendi has been presented and his literal character has been evaluated. In the second section, "Eş'âr ve Münşeât" has been studied in two subtitles as formation and content. In the third section, the transcription of the work has been given. In that thesis it is aimed to introduce Süleyman Nazif Efendi and his known only work "Eş'ar ve Münşeât". Keywords: Süleyman Nazif Efendi, Poem, Script, Classical Turkish Literature. 19th Century
