| dc.description.abstract | Avrupa‟da yükselen milliyetçilik ve ulus devlet anlayışı dünyayı yaklaşık 90 milyon insanın öldüğü I. ve II. dünya savaşlarına sürükledi. Burada ortaya çıkan Hitler ve Musollini rejimleri büyük acıların yaşanmasına neden oldu. Bu trajedilerin tekrarlanmaması için kurulan Avrupa Kömür ve Çelik Topluluğu (AKÇT) ile bugün 27 devleti içine alan AB‟nin temelleri atıldı. Türkiye‟de yarım asırdan fazla bir süredir bu oluşumda yer almak için çabalıyor. Ancak II. Dünya şavaşını bizzat yaşayan bazı insanlar bile daha hayatta iken bu trajediler unutuldu ve Avrupa yeniden milliyetçiliğin yükseldiği bir kıtaya dönüştü. | dc.description.abstract | The rising of nationalism and nation-state in Europe lead the world to the First and the Second world wars which provoked the death of almost 90 million people. The nationalist regime of Mussolini and Hitler, who emerged there, caused great sufferings. To prevent the repetition of these tragedies the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) has been founded and it prepared the establishment of the EU which nowadays contains 27 states. For more than a half century, Turkey has sought to join to this formation. However, even while some of people who lived the Second World War, are still alive these tragedies have been forgotten and Europe is now facing again to the rise of nationalism. Therefore, how the re-emergence of the radical nationalism in Europe can affect the Turkish membership to the EU and the world peace? | en_US |
