Özet
Psychoactive substances are commonly used as narcotic drugs, as well as by those with psychological disorders. Therefore, testing the presence of these substances in people’s bodies is very important in forensic and medical fields. In addition, since taking psychotic drugs for medical purposes or illegal use is important in terms of clinical and safety, analysis of drug-active ingredients in biological fluids is essential. Methods with high accuracy and precision, such as traditional chromatography and spectroscopy, are widely used for drug analysis. Since the instrumental devices used in these methods are portable to the analysis environment, have long working times, and require expert personnel, there is generally a greater need for electrochemical sensors that are fast, easy to use, and can make on-site measurements. Therefore, in recent years, non-invasive and invasive electrochemical sensor designs have become very popular for the analysis of psychoactive drugs. In this section, current sensor studies applied and designed for the analysis of psychoactive drugs are extensively discussed. © 2024 American Chemical Society.
