| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Güney Doğu Anadolu bölgesinde stratejik bir noktada konumlanmış olan Samsat, arkeolojik kazılar sonucunda ele geçen zengin ve bol çeşitli malzemelerle burada yerleşimin M.Ö. 5000-3000 yıllarına kadar uzadığı kanıtlanmıştır. Samsat Höyük kazılarından anlaşıldığına göre Orta Çağ, Helen ve Roma Dönemleri başta olmak üzere Demir Çağı, Geç ve Orta Tunç Çağları’na kadar uzanan dört dönem tespit edilmiştir. Bu dönemlerde Samsat kentinin önemli olmasının nedeni; Fırat Nehri’nin ulaşımı kolaylaştırması sayesinde hem bir ticaret merkezi hem de askeri bir merkez olmasıdır. Çalışmada, Anadolu’da Orta Çağ Hristiyan ve İslam öncesi seramik üretimi yapan Samsat Höyük’te yapılan kazılarda bulunan seramiklerin üretim ve süsleme teknikleri araştırılmıştır. Adıyaman Müzesi’nde sergilenen seramikler ve depoda korunan parçalardan işlevsel, estetik değeri yüksek ve süsleme motif özellikleri bakımından dikkat çekenler incelenmiş ve müze kayıtları ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Samsat Höyük kazılarındaki seramik buluntulara dair bilgilere, Samsat’ın tarihi ve Orta Çağ İslam öncesi ve sonrası seramiklerin tanım ve kıyaslamaları yapılmış, araştırmacılara toplu değerlendirebilecekleri bir kaynak olabilmesi için çalışılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Öz: Samsat, which is located at a strategic point in the Southeastern Anatolia region, is where the settlement was found in the BC, with the rich and varied materials found as a result of archaeological excavations. It has been proven to be as long as 5000-3000 years. As understood from the Samsat Höyük excavations, four periods have been identified ranging from the Middle Ages, Hellenic and Roman Periods to the Iron Age, Late and Middle Bronze Ages. The reason why the city of Samsat was important in these periods; The fact that the Euphrates River facilitates transportation is both a trade center and a military center. In this study, the production and decoration techniques of the ceramics found in the excavations in Samsat Höyük, which produced medieval Christian and pre-Islamic ceramics in Anatolia, were investigated. The ceramics exhibited in the Adıyaman Museum and the pieces preserved in the warehouse that attract attention in terms of their functional, aesthetic value and ornamental motif features were examined and compared with the museum records. The information about the ceramic finds in Samsat Höyük excavations, the history of Samsat and the definitions and comparisons of the ceramics before and after the Middle Ages Islam were made, and it was studied so that it could be a resource for researchers to evaluate collectively. | en_US |
