| dc.description.abstract | Modern roman ve hikâyeciliğin edebiyatımıza girmesiyle birlikte mekân unsuru eserlede ön plana çıkmaya başlamış ve bununla birlikte mekânlar kahramanların sosyal ve psikolojik özelliklerini yansıtan ögeler hâline gelmiştir. Cumhuriyetle birlikte Türk roman ve hikâyeciliği önemli bir mesafe kat etmiştir. Bu gelişim roman ve hikâyelerde kullanılan mekân algısını ileri bir düzeye taşımıştır. Bu tez, Cumhuriyet Dönemi yazarlarından Memduh Şevket Esendal'ın roman ve hikâyelerindeki mekân kurgusu, açık mekân, kapalı mekân ve insan-mekân ilişkileri üzerine yapılmış bir çalışmadır. | dc.description.abstract | With the entry of modern novel and storytelling into literature, the space element began to appear on the foreground, and with it, the elements that reflected the social and psychological characteristics of the heroes of the place were still present. Together with the Republic, Turkish novels and storytelling have come a long way. This development brought the space sensation used in novels and stories to an advanced level. This thesis is a study on the space design, open space, indoor space and human-space relations in Memduh Şevket Esendal's novels and stories from the Republican Period authors.
