| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada Türkiye’nin kara sınırları ve kara sınır kentlerimize ait kentsel özelliklerin taşıdığı önem ortaya koyulmuştur. Konu ile ilgili yazılı ve görsel bilgi kaynaklarından yararlanılmış, istatistikî veriler değerlendirilmiş ve bu kapsamda açıklamaları yapılmıştır. Uygarlık tarihi boyunca toplumların sosyal, siyasal, kültürel ve ekonomik yönlü istekleri ve etkinlikleri değişmiştir. insanoğlu, doğal çevrenin egemen olduğu Kaba Taş Çağı’nı aşmış ve doğal çevrenin denetlendiği Bilgi Çağı’ na ulaşmıştır. içinde bulunduğumuz döneme küreselleşme süreci adı verilmektedir. Küreselleşme süreci siyasal, sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik etkenlerin bir araya gelmesi ile ortaya çıkan uluslararası etkinlikler bütünü olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Türkiye, sahip olduğu coğrafi konum özellikleri ile dünya üzerindeki önemini sürdürmektedir. Ilıman iklim kucağındadır. Sosyal, siyasal, ekonomik, kültürel ve askeri yapıya sahip olan farklı ülkelerle komşu durumundadır. Türkiye, üç tarafı denizlerle çevrili olan bir yarımada ülkesidir. Kara sınırları toplam uzunluğu 2.753 km. ve deniz kıyı sınırları toplam uzunluğu ise 8.333 km. dir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study, the main purpose is to investigate importance and place of urban characteristics regarding to border cities of Turkey which are located only at land borders. For the purpose of the study, explanations on the importance and place of the cities were done by utilizing written and visual resources and exmining statistical data about the cities. During all the time in the history of civilization, societies’ activities and desires with related to politics, culture and economy have been changed by different factors. Human being went beyond lithic ages in which natural environment was the prevailing factor, then human being reached “Information Age” in which natural environment was controlled. Our current age is called as “globalization age” that is defined as international activities arising from combination of political, social, cultural and economical factors. Turkey’s importance caused by its geographic location in the world has been progressing. Turkey is a peninsula surrounded by seas (Mediterranean, Aegean and Black Sea). The country is at the temperate zone and its location has borders with different countries having different social, political, economical, cultural and martial structures. Measure of land border distance of Turkey is 2.753 km. while measure of the sea border distance is 8.333 km. | en_US |
