Rahim İçi Araç Kullanan Kadınlarda Servikal Sitolojik Değişiklikler

| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışma rahim içi araç (RİA) kullanan kadınlarda servlkal sitolojik değişiklikleri saptamak için planlandı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışma kontraseptif metod olarak RİA tercih eden 80 hasta ve RIA dışında herhangi bir kontraseptif metod kullanan 50 kontrol grubu hasta üzerinde yapıldı. RİA ve kontrol grubundaki her hastadan alınan smearier Papanicolaou He boyandı ve klinik bilgilerden habersiz uzman bir sitolog tarafından Bethesda kriterlerine uygun olarak değerlendirildi. İstatistiksel analiz İçin Mann-Whitney U nonparametrik testi kullanıldı. Bulgular: Hastaların yaş ortalamaları 29.3±6.5, ilk cinsel ilişki yaşı 19.6±8.5, pariteleri 3.3±3.2, RİA kullanma süreleri 10.7±3.1 ay olarak bulundu. Olguların h!ç birinde d'ısplaz'ı, mikro'mvaziv veya invazıv karsinom saptanmadı. RİA kullanan 80 olgunun 52'sinde (%65.3) infiamatuar degişlklik saptanırken kontrol grubunda 12 olguda inflamasyon (%24) saptandı ve aradaki fark İstatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulundu (p <0.05). RİA grubunda 2 olguda ASCUS (%2,5) saptanırken, kontrol grubunda sadece bir hastada (%2) ASCUS saptandı, aradaki fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmadı (p>0.05). Sonuç: Rahim ¡çi araç kullanımı Papanicolaou smearde infiamatuar değişikliklere neden olurken, servikal displazi ve karsinom riskinde anlamlı bir değişikliğe neden olmamıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study we have planned to determine the effects of intrauterine device (IUD) on cervical cytologic changes. Material And Method: Cervical epithelial morphology were evaluated on 80 women who are using IUD as contraceptive method. Another 50 women who are using different contraceptive methods except IUD were selected as control group. Cervical smears were taken from all women and stained with papanicolaou dye and evaluated according to Bethesta criteria by same pathologist who were unaware of the clinical status of women. Mann-Whltney U nonparametric test was used for statistical analysis. Results: The age avarage of the patients was 29.3±6.5, the first sexual experience age was 19.6±8.5, parites were 3.3±3.2, the duration of IUD using was 10.7±3.1 months. None of the women had dysplasia or carcinoma. Inflammatory changes were detected in 52 (65.3%) paients in IUD group and 12 (24%) patients in control group and difference between groups were statistically significant (p<0.05). ASCUS was detected in 2 (2,5%) patients in IUD group and 1 (2%) patient in control group, difference between groups were statistically insignificant (p>0.05). Condusions: The use of IUD causes to inflammatory changes at Papanicolaou smears, but It doesn't increase the risk of cervical dysplasia and carcinoma | en_US |
