The researcher's aim was to develop a women's efficiency scale in family decision-making and evaluate its psychometric properties. A convenience sample of 540 married women at five primary health care centers completed a structured questionnaire in 2007. In the assessment of construct validity, one factor explained 47.9% of the total variance. The internal reliability coefficient of this one factor-based scale was 0.78, and all items of factor loadings were above 0.40. In this study, evidence is provided for the women's efficiency scale in family decision-making's validity, reliability, and acceptability.en_US
