dc.description.abstract	Öz: Bu çalışmada, 2002 yılı sonrası iktidar partisi (Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi) ve ana muhalefet partisinin(Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi) genel seçim beyannamelerinde “kadın” ve “cinsiyet eşitsizliği” kavramlarını nasılalgıladıkları ve bu kavramlar üzerinden yaşanan sorunları nasıl ele aldıklarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Buamaçla sürdürülen çalışmada, öncelikle cinsiyet ve cinsiyet eşitsizliği kavramları üzerinde durularak,Türkiye’nin cinsiyet eşitsizliği konusundaki mevcut durumunun analizi istatistikî verilerle ortaya konmuştur.Daha sonra da bu bilgiler ışığında her iki partinin genel seçim beyannameleri “kadın” ve “cinsiyet eşitsizliği”kavramları üzerinden incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda, her iki partinin belli noktalarda ortak paydadabuluştuğu gözlemlenirken, bazı konularda farklı bakış açılarına sahip oldukları görülmüştür. Özellikle her ikipartinin de kadınları ayrı bir seçmen grubu olarak değerlendirmeye başladığı kanaatine varılmıştır. Ek olarakhem iktidar partisinin hem de ana muhalefet partisinin kadınlara yönelik istihdam, eğitim, sağlık ve toplumsalboyutlarda pozitif ayrımcılığı benimsedikleri görülmüştür. Ayrıca her iki parti de seçim beyannamelerindekadını, geleneksel rollerinden uzaklaştırmadan cinsiyet eşitliğini sağlamayı esas almıştır.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Öz: In this study, it is aimed to examine how the ruling party (Justice and Development Party) and the main opposition party (Republican People's Party) perceived the concepts of “women” and “gender inequality” in the general election declarations and how they deal with the problems experienced with these concepts. For this purpose, in this study, firstly, the concepts of gender and gender inequality were dealt with, these concepts were emphasized, analysis of the current situation about gender inequality in Turkey was demonstrated with statistical data. Then, in the light of this information, both parties’ general election declarations were examined on the concepts of "women" and "gender inequality". At the end of the study, it was observed that while both parties met at common points on certain points, they had different perspectives on some issues. In particular, it was concluded that both parties started to evaluate women as a separate voter group. It was also observed that both the ruling party and the main opposition party adopted positive discrimination against women in employment, education, health and social aspects. In addition, according to the election declarations, both parties aim to render gender equality without removing women from their traditional roles	en_US
